Excellent addition for rifles
Added this product to Streamlight TLR-1S HP and used the remote switch. It's an excellent combination for a home defense gun. On the very end of my Magpul MOE Handguard, it's on the bottom and has a very intense output of light. It produces a massive cone of light, with a super bright spot in the center, almost like a giant laser spot. It might only be 200 lumens, but it sure seems far brighter. I wouldn't put this light on a pistol, only because you'll never find a holster to wear it with (unlike the non HP version, which has dozens of compatible holsters). But on a rifle or shotgun, you can't go wrong.
Streamlight 69130 remote door switch
I use the TLR-1 Serieslight on both a Glock 19 and an AR15. You don't need the remote switch on a Glock, but it frees a lot of weight on the AR.
The Streamlight TLR-1 battery door
I have bought 1 Streamlight TLR-1 Battery door for myself and 1 for my son. Very easy to install and have worked without issue on Mossberg 590A1 shotguns. We will buy two more for AR15's soon. I would highly recommend it.
You'll need this to add a pressure switch
You'll need the Streamlight Remote switch battery door if you want to mount a remote pressure switch on your rifle. The remote option gives you versatility in positioning the light. The door switch simply replaces the stock unit and the pressure switch plugs into the back.
