Customer Ratings & Reviews
When the lights go out.
Item arrived quicker than expected coming from Florida. Fit is wonderful. It couldn’t have been easier to install and use. 2 screws and it is done. Came with all hardware needed to install, the screws and tool. Love the 2 locations of switches in each side to turn it on. Just a little pressure from your finger and you have light or laser. What ever you are looking for. Construction seems sturdy. I mean I am not going to trust it to support my weight or nothing, but I don’t feel the need to be gentle or careful when using. My Glock no longer fits in my Blackhawk holster. Will have to find a new holster. Which is no big deal, just take into consideration when purchasing that you may need to make adjustments to your kit. With what is going on in the world have a light at all times and a free hand instead of holding my flashlight might just be a little more comfortable.
Decent light, but I already switched to a cr123a
This light is an excellent value for the price. It fits securely on my full-size Glock, though some light is slightly obscured. My main goal in purchasing this light was to minimize its size and save money, and the TLR-6 does both of those things well. The battery door is secure and does not open easily (I had to use a knife to install the batteries, contrary to some reviews). I have not tested the light's longevity, but for home defense, if the light were to dim, I would replace the batteries. The light is bright enough to illuminate a large room, though it is not as bright as the TLR-2. I also tested the laser outside and found it reached as far as a football field to the treeline behind my house, which is more than sufficient for my needs. Adjusting the laser was quick and easy, and I zeroed it at 15 feet. The laser is just above my sight when I simultaneously have the laser and light on. In terms of improvements, I would love to see Streamlight create a version of this light designed for full-size guns and uses CR123A batteries, possibly with a green laser option. The current design is functional, but for my needs and budget, a more compact version would be more practical. To turn the light, laser, or both on, you just need to press one side firmly and toggle with the other side. As for practicality in quickly using the light after brandishing (removing from the holster), it is essential to note that you would not have your finger on the trigger in this situation, and I consider these types of lights to be a backup anyway. In any case, it is always better to have a weapon light and not need it than to need one and not have it.
Great value streamlight laser light combo
The installation and adjustment of the laser on this product were straightforward. It offers excellent value, as it combines the benefits of a laser with a decent level of brightness (100 Lumens). While other models are brighter, they do not have the added feature of a laser. I mounted this product on my Glock 20 (10mm) and found that most molded holsters accommodate the TLR-1 lights, a larger model. However, it is easy to find a generic or even custom holster designed for this light at an affordable price. Overall, I highly recommend this product.
streamlight 69290 tlr-6 review
Streamlight again makes a very high-quality product as though it was made from the factory to fit your exact make & model gun. I've bought Streamlight products before & the TLR-6 is so easy to install, solidly mounts to your weapon & at that price point, anyone looking for a light/laser combo shouldn't pass this up. However, the ONLY reason I'm leaving a 4 star rating is over one thing. A battery! Some might say "that's not Streamlight's fault," but if you buy a product that comes with accessories such as batteries, I expect the batteries to work. One battery tested well. The 2nd battery was dead! Yeah, it's only two batteries, but when I buy a product, I expect it to deliver, but it's hard when 1 of the two batteries it requires to function is dead. Yeah, I can buy batteries. However, the whole point of "batteries included" means I shouldn't have to buy batteries in the beginning. I'd rather they not include them if putting fresh batteries in the pkg. Requires too much effort. I'd simply wish they'd include the phrase "batteries not included." So I'm not left wondering why my new laser/light combo won't come on. That way, I know I've got to buy batteries first thing, instead of having to get my tester out to figure out the problem. Otherwise, I have nothing to say negatively toward the Streamlight TLR-6! Highly recommend this laser/light combo. Just don't trust the batteries!
I've told my friends the tlr-6 glock 19 is Awesome!
I mounted this light on my Glock 19 in 9mm. The Glock is a great gun, but factory iron sights were not that great. With the windage and elevation adjustments, I was able to make the laser dead nuts. The gun now stacks bullets in a quarter size hole at 50 feet. The light is really bright, too, and would be great for home defense.
Streamlight laser light combo glock 19 - Great beam and light.
Attaches easily to my Glock 19 but lacks a method of tightening it to the rail. Light is great, and laser beam is easy to adjust, just a bit loose for my satisfaction and thus a 4 star rating.
Streamlight 69290 tlr-6 Works Great in the Right Application
I have the Streamlight 69290 mounted on my home defense handgun in a bedside safe. PROS - It works well in that application. - Tight fit and easy to manipulate Downgraded 1 star for versatility, though. CONS - You need a tool and a bit of time to install/remove - Uses non-common N cells for power. Also not so sure about sustained run time. - Haven't found a secure holster for my Glock while the light is attached
The Streamlight TLR 6 Glock 19 is a Good light laser for the price
Have this on a Glock 19 works great light laser works excellent around the exterior of home for varmints, and home security laser is accurate love the options from just light or laser or the combination.
Great beam and light.
Attaches easily to my G19 but lacks a method of tightening it to the rail. Light is excellent, and laser beam easy to adjust, just a bit loose for my satisfaction and thus a 4 star rating.

I NOW OWN 3
I own a GLOCK 43, a GLOCK 26, and a GLOCK 19. All three are equipped with the TLR-6. They're easy to operate, and the front sight silhouette created by the flashlight really works for me at night.
Good light laser for the price
