Streamlight ProTac HL-X Dual Fuel, High Lumen Flashlight
The ProTac HL-X are 1000 lumen tactical flashlights that can use either a proprietary Streamlight® SL-B26™ protected Li-Ion USB rechargeable battery or two CR123A disposable batteries. The ProTac® HL-X comes packaged with two CR123A batteries. Geature a tactical tail cap switch for momentary or constant on operation, three different user selectable programs and a pocket clip for convenience. The aluminum housing with Type II Military Spec anodizing helps make the light extremely durable and abrasion resistant. Packaged with a removable pocket clip and holster.

The Streamlight Protac hl-x is Very Bright and has more than one brightness level, can use CR123 batteries, but works best with 18650 high Mah ones

I use a medium-size Streamlight on my duty belt but needed something compact for my outer vest carrier (molle) when I needed to wear it. The Streamlight protac hl-x flashlight did the trick. The battery is easy to plug into a USB and recharge - I charged it by my laptop once and worked just as well as plugging into the wall. Very bright for a small light! I've always been a Streamlight fan, and this only light makes that more robust. It has bright, strobe, and dim. It is a little tricky getting it between the levels until you get the hang of it. I'd buy it again but probably won't have to for a long time.

The Streamlight protac hl-x is about as perfect as it gets, bright, will take 1x18650, or 2xcr123a’s. I've tried the majority of the popular ones pd35, tn12, zanflare f1, surefire g2x. The operations are great 1 press for high, two half presses for strobe. The only complaint I have is I wish the rubber tail button was more prominent for high stress situation, its a shame these companies are listening to all these “tail stand” hippies.

I have been a big fan of Streamlight flashlights. I started with the scorpion. This is a three battery flashlight, so it really throws out the light.

The Streamlight Protac hl-x is my go-to EDC flashlight. It is compact but fits in my hand well when using it. It only uses one CR123 battery, so a pack lasts longer. I like the flash option, but it comes on full strength with the first tap, flash, then low power. The Cordura nylon holster that comes has a cover flap which loses its velcro ability to stay fastened after about a half-year's use. I cut the flap off the top when that happened, singed the cut with a flame, and kept using it, clipping the clip on the elastic side of the holster, in which it stays solid. I have used this light almost daily and also in the fire service, and it has held up tremendously well. I have two (one is a backup to when I misplace the original) and love them both. A solid choice in lighting at an affordable price!

The Streamlight Protac HL-X is Super bright light from a compact device, good battery life, used tracking at night for several hours, and multiple short terms use on the first set of batteries, as stated it does get hot if it is left on for a while.

The Streamlight ProTac HL-X is an A very nice upgrade from 750 lumens to 1000 lumens, and three settings of light output make it a perfect EDC light at a great price Streamlight is an excellent organization. I use it every night to lock up my partime job
