Before purchasing the Fab Defense GL-CORE S stock, I was considering the Magpul STR and the MFT Minimalist (Mission First Tactical BattleLink Rifle Stock). The MFT is a lightweight and minimal stock that has a convenient embedded Magpul QD ring in the center. The Magpul STR is known for its excellent cheek weld and allows for the option of mounting a QD ring on either side. However, the Fab Defense GL-CORE S stock is smaller, lighter, and more compact than both the STR and MFT. It also has a Magpul QD ring installed horizontally in the center, which allows for easy use on either the right or left side of the stock. In terms of price, the GL-CORE S is cheaper than the STR and has a better cheek weld than the MFT. While all three of these stocks are excellent options, I believe the Fab Defense GL-CORE S comes out on top.

I purchased the Fab Defense GL Core AR15/M4 Buttstock because it can be used on both mil-spec and commercial buffer tubes, making it a versatile choice for my rifle. The stock comes with a pair of adjusters that allow it to fit onto either type of tube, which is convenient. I have been very satisfied with the performance of this stock and appreciate that it does not have a hole in the top that can catch and pull out beard hair (an issue I have personally experienced with other stocks). Overall, I think the Fab Defense GL Core AR15/M4 Buttstock is a great option that works well and is comfortable to use.

I am a fan of the Fab Defense GL Core S CQB Optimized Combat Stock and own four. I have tried other brands such as B5 and clones, MPctr's, and SI stocks, but I prefer the GL Core S. The only downside is that there is a slight wobble, but this can be minimized by using a SI stock stop. This stock is also featureless legal, which is a bonus. I am a small, minimalist man who appreciates the padding and rubberized grip of the GL Core S stock. It is rugged and feels solid on an AR rifle. The stock is available in FDE, OD, and BLK colors and costs around $50 to $60 with delivery. I use a fixed para-clip loop with sewn climbing cord to secure my ESD 2P sling. The GL Core S stock is compact and works well in tight quarters and prone positions. It would be nice if it came with a Kraig McGraw lesson or tickets to a non-lethal Kumité. Overall, I think the Fab Defense GL Core S CQB Optimized Combat Stock is a comfortable, compact, and rugged choice for an AR rifle.

Overall it's an excellent quality made ar stock, and it will hold up, and it does handle the recoil alot better than the Trinity Force stock I had. My only issue is that the but end is slightly smaller than I like. The QD attach point is placed perfectly.

Works fantastic and designed to equip with your plate carrier. The FAB FDE parts I've collected are tightly matched in color, quality, and fit. This particular brace has a very nice extension length, fit to buffer (comes with inserts to fit your buffer tightly), and shoulder comfort texture. I had a Magpul on mine before this and would not trade this out on my build at all. Nice cheek resting as well. Great job, FAB.

Olive Drab ROCKS on my M & P Sport II. Simple install with the included Mill Spec inserts, lightweight, functional, and easily adjustable. I highly recommend this stick! This is a very well built stock that is far superior to the OEM.

I like this AR stock. I was concerned about it being adjustable for mil or commercial spec, but it is rock solid. I enjoy the forward rocking adjustment lever. It's effortless to shoulder even with body armor on. I'd purchase again for sure.

I originally purchased this for my girl's build and fell in love with it so much I bought it for my next build. It's comfortable, lightweight, and has an excellent cheek weld. It comes with both mil and commercial-spec adapters and is a nice tight fit. The lever makes adjusting the length easy, and the rubber butt pad is easily removable. I ended up doing a paint job on my build, and the paint took very well.

This stock looks cool, locks uptight. Great "grabby" rubber pad to shoulder with kit on and the perfect size height-wise to get just above plate and still have good cheek weld. I'm 6' 3". Also, the shape of the toe... Extremely comfy and, again, really works excellent with armor. Plus, it has a mild sop mod style cheek comb. Love it. The fact it fits both receiver extensions is a giant plus too. I will probably get more in different colors.

Unlike Magpul CTR, where you pull the stop pin down externally to remove and install stock, on this stock, you have to remove the buttstock end, depress the hook, and it slides on like butter. The reverse is also true. Unlike the CTR, there is no external lock to keep the stock in a fixed position, but I've never used that to start with. It's only a couple of minutes worth of work, but there are no directions to figure it out. I rated five because despite that, this is an outstanding stock that seems to automatically fit right into my shoulder with my plate carrier on, and the cheek weld is top-notch. I prefer this stock to the Magpul.

The bottom of this stock allows you to roll the stock up and down from low-ready to presentation consistently. The adjustment tab is in a great place where you won't accidentally hit it. This is great if you're small

Fab Defense products are of superior quality, give great feel and performance, great price too. It fit perfectly with the AR-15 build I am doing, matched the mil-spec quality perfectly. The fit and feel are great, I love the compact size, and the QD attachments worked great!
