Fantastic Light
I have had the tlr2 streamlight mounted to my Sig P226 (9mm), P220, and currently my XD-45 Tactical (in service for about 4 or 5 years). I use it in a duty situation on the South side of Chicago and it gets it's share of abuse. It's ease of use as well as it's dependability are a fantastic part of this light.
deadly combo
I have Streamlight tlr 2 laser light combo mounted on a P-226 SIG . It is a terrific combo of laser/light. The selection switch with temporary or continuous on and toggle for light only, laser only, or both on is right at my fingertips. The laser while a little tricky to sight in at first , once you have it you have it. The laser remains right on even after removal and remounting on picatinny. Great life on 3V battery also. It is well worth the price and very well built and reliable. Both laser and lite are very bright.
a tlr-2 weapons mounted light with laser sight
I got one of these little beauties for my Glock 21; installation - seconds. Very bright and easy to operate. I need to go to the range and adjust the laser, but the Glock is now on the nightstand. With this weapons light and 13 .45APC rounds...entering my home at night may not be a good idea! Streamlight is 30 miles from me in Eagleville, PA...I hope that this item is primarily American-made.
best ar 15 laser light combo
After a year of abuse on my AR Carbine, I have bought another TLR-2. For the original: No malfunctions of any sort. Three hundred lumens of focused white light. Tight red laser useful to 100 yards and further (low light). I do get a good 25-yard day beam up to about 11AM on a sunny day on light-colored material. But, it does take a second to find the dot. Not so at low/no light. Instant target acquisition. I have been very pleased with the first purchase, and not so much with inconsistent reviews of competitors products, so coming back was a no-brainer. I am quite happy with the focused red beam being that it is <1 MOA at the 100-yard mark. Also, much more temperature-friendly than the green. #1 AR Carbine M4 profile; #2 on SPR 18" DD S2W profile.
Best deal on a streamlight tlr-2 for sale on mountsplus.com
I mounted this on my FX 9 MM. Very easy to mount; recoil doesn't bother it at all. The Laser isn't as good as a Crimson Trace; it doesn't have a lot of elevation adjustment; at 10 yards, it shoots 4 inches low and can't be seen in the Florida sunlight. I sighted it in at an in-door range & it was fine. For a self-defense weapon, this shouldn't be a problem. The light is so bright you'd blind the bad guy ... well made & ideal for what it was designed for
best ar laser light combo
This light/laser is absolutely the best combo you will find!! I have one on my Glock 21 and it is blindingly bright. The laser is a great addition and adds to your accuracy, not to mention being somewhat intimidating! The only thing that I don't like about it is the strobe function. I think having a strobe function is great because it really disorients a person. However, it is pretty difficult to get the hang of it. Luckily, a friend taught me a trick that really works. Instead of trying to quickly push the locking lever then pushing it again (which takes A LOT of practice and still only works about half the time), very quickly push down on the momentary lever then immediately push down on the locking lever. It still takes some practice, but works almost every time! Other than that, it's about as perfect as they come. I do wish it was smaller, but it fits well on my G21 (which I keep in my glove box). I bought the new TLR-4 for my G30 (which is my primary CCW). It's not quite as bright as the TLR-2 and doesn't have a strobe function, but it's smaller and fits well on the gun. However, I still recommend having a TLR-2 on at least one gun, especially your bedside gun (I bring my G21 in every night and it's then my bedside gun). The only other problem is that it's very hard to find holsters for guns with these lights, however, I recently found a place that makes custom kydex holsters for guns with lights!!!!! It's called Raven Concealment Systems. I haven't received my holster yet, but I did quite a bit of research and while there are other places that make custom kydex holsters, this was the only place I could find that will make them for guns with lights/lasers! They even offered the TLR-4, which surprised me since it's so new, but thats the one I ordered since that's what I have on my G30. They also make really cool little holsters that only cover the trigger guard, so that you can safely carry mexican. Even though I wouldn't never carry that way, I ordered some, just to have some extra, one size fits all, holsters. Anyway, get the TLR-2!! You won't regret it!!!!!
Best ar-15 laser light
This Streamlight tlr-2 is an excellent light/laser combo. Mounted it on my AR-15 and it is perfect. Excellent illumination and bright laser. Sighting the laser is very simple and easy. Just for curiosity, I dismounted the device and reinstalled it, and the laser is still zeroed in on the target. This device is shockproof and waterproof. The laser kept its zero even on sustained firing with my AR-15. Quickly taken down with just a few turns and retightened finger tight only, and the laser/light stays on tightly. The light is very bright and can easily blind someone momentarily (trust me, it will). The laser is ultra-bright at night and very intelligent in daylight (approx. 50 yards), but at night it goes way beyond (if you want to shoot way beyond 100 yards). Switches are easily accessible with my left index finger (righty me) and love that little toggle switch for laser only, light only, or laser/light combo with a momentary switch or constant on. The switches are also ambidextrous. Oh yeah, great for lefties too. I will get another one for my second AR-15 as soon as I finish accessorizing my first one. Great stuff, can't go wrong getting this one again.
Streamlight tactical light with laser
Streamlight makes an excellent light/laser unit. Quality construction, rock-solid mounting assembly. Works great on my Beretta CX4 9mm carbine. Constantly receiving comments from other shooters about how well it looks and works.
Streamlight weapon light with laser is the best!
The Streamlight tlr 2 is the best weapon light with laser that I could have possibly bought for my Glock 22. The light on this thing is fantastic. When I first got it, I assumed that the light wouldn't be as powerful as my little Maglite. I was so wrong! The light is so bright that you could stun someone with it. The light is white, and it projects a tight beam out to a far distance. I tried it in my backyard, and it lit it up like a floodlight. The laser is adjustable for wind and elevation and is very bright! It screws on so tight you couldn't get it off with the jaws of life! And it retains the zero. This light gets a six!!!
TLR 2 tactical laser flashlight
I got one of these for my S&W 327 M&P R8. It mounts perfectly and holds in place even under magnum recoil. I like the toggle selector (laser/laser & light/light). If you have an accessory rail, one of these is a must!
Streamlight weapon light is terrific
This Streamlight weapon light is almost too much fun. The laser is very bright, and the light is terrific. The only problem is if it sticks out past the barrel as mine does, it will collect residue, but that does clean up. Excellent buy and a neat toy to have. Also, its durability is fantastic due to its aluminum construction. Buy one and enjoy it.
Streamlight tlr-2 built strong and extremely bright light
Small, solidly built, extremely bright light (blinding if you're on the wrong end of it!) Mounts tightly on a rail. Included rail key is reversible for precise positioning. The laser can be precisely zeroed and will hold zero reliably. The laser aim point is visible at 50 yards in daylight. Once zeroed, the laser can be used to zero newly installed optics.
