This trigger is incredible. This is the first trigger I've to replace in an AR-15, and I have to say, this is worth the money. I took it out to test fire it, and I was pleasantly surprised. Great combat trigger. Do you need to shoot fast? This trigger is excellent for it. Do you need to take your time? This trigger is perfect for it. It's an all-around great trigger. I wished it was in my M-4 in the military, but it's only the Special Forces guys that get the good stuff.

I installed the Geissele SSA on an S&W M&P-10 .308, and glad I chose this model trigger. The second stage breaks at a perfect tension. The engineering, materials, machining, and all tolerances are superb. This product requires no improvements at all. Light oil is all that is needed to lubricate all points; I did not use the supplied grease. I used Militec-1 light oil. A note to M&P-10 owners who want to install this trigger: the ambidextrous design of this rifle requires the bolt carrier trip lever to be removed, then reinstalled after the new hammer is installed. This procedure is not needed for non-ambedextrous design rifles. This Geissele trigger assy is a deal for $210 and essential to all AR design rifles.

I picked one of these geissele ssa trigger up for a DPMS .308 and was extremely pleased with it. You can tell when you pick it up that Geissele puts a lot of time and effort into building these triggers. The installation was a bit tougher than I've had with other triggers. The pins fit incredibly tight, but with the use of the slave pins that were provided, it all went together in less than 20 minutes. They're a bit expensive but well worth the money. The two-stage aspect of the trigger helped me with accuracy and improved my groups. There is a video on youtube by Bill Geissele that describes all the different types of triggers that they offer. It's worth a look if you're confused about what trigger to buy.

I hate to spend money on AR Accessories because sometimes it is a waste of coin. But after putting one of these geissele SSA triggers in one of my ARs, I was hooked---- I bought two more. I know--- that's a lot of money for triggers--- but it is worth it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought the Geissele SSA to replace the stock mil-spec trigger on my SIG516. Install was pretty comfortable with no issues whatsoever. The difference between the SSA and the stock trigger is night and day. Going from a reasonably gritty trigger that breaks around 7+ pounds, to an immaculate 2 stage that feels like it's in the 4-pound range is sweet. The SSA is very predictable; when you hit the wall, you know exactly what to expect from the break time after time. It's not the cheapest trigger job for an AR, but it is worth every penny.

I bought this Geissele SSA trigger several years ago to go into a Colt LE6920. At the time of purchase and installation, I thought the trigger was good, but not worth the price of admission. I mean, the stock trigger in a colt is excellent, right? Well, I was wrong, and after years of shooting the SSA, it was only when I put the old colt trigger in another build and dryfired it did I see that the difference is enormous. All those years of doubt evaporated in a second. I liked it so much. I bought another Geissele. What a great, homegrown product from a PA manufacturer.

I'm an Armed Forces Veteran and was used to the stock one stage trigger. I've often thought about upgrading my trigger and finally "pulled the trigger" on the Geissele SSA after extensive research. My Sig516G2 will never be the same! The only regret that I have is not doing this much, much sooner! The new trigger has reduced the overall weight down to 4.5 lbs. And the two stages has increased my long range target accuracy to sub-MOA. Lastly, this is an American company! Don't wait, "pull the trigger" now and invest in a new SSA Trigger and a great American company!
