I wanted to add a vertical foregrip, but my AR-15 has a holt style fluted handguard without rail attachments or key mods, making it challenging to add a traditional foregrip. I considered drilling a hole to attach a rail, but I was concerned about misalignment if I ever unscrewed and reattached it. After some research and a visit to a gun show, I found the perfect solution from Fab Defense: a magazine well foregrip. To install it, I first separated the upper from the lower part of the gun. Using a hex bit, I detached the necessary parts. Initially, I struggled a bit with the attachment, but soon realized I had it upside down. Once corrected, it fit perfectly. An Allen wrench would've been a helpful addition to the package. The only downside was that the grip covered my Klingon decal, but that's a minor issue. Once assembled, the rifle felt great. The foregrip provided excellent maneuverability, allowing me to tuck my elbow close to my body for a stable shooting stance. The grip also slightly enlarges the magazine well, but the magazine still fits perfectly. Overall, I'm pleased with the Fab Defense magazine well foregrip. It's sturdy, looks good, and was relatively easy to install once I figured out the correct orientation. Remember, making mistakes is part of the learning process!

This grip is positioned around the magwell, providing users with a comfortable and balanced hold closer to the firearm. It features ambidextrous grooves, enhancing the gun's grip. The magwell grip eliminates the need for a vertical foregrip and adds almost an inch to the bottom of the gun, making reloading more efficient and accurate. The grip's design also makes the firearm more compact, eliminating the need for additional grips.

Overall experience with Mounting solutions was good. The reason for only 3 stars is that threads in the hole for the bottom front screw were stripped. Rather than go through all the returns hassle, I glued it.

I enjoyed putting this on one of my custom builds! It's securely fastened to the magazine well by tightening the three 3-screws installed on the product. Be careful not to over-tighten them. Also, it is magazine specific to some AR-15 magazines! On mine, my customer uses aluminum & steel magazines only & those didn't present an issue when loading or unloading. They locked up nice & snug. Just another option when holding the AR-15 platform. These are from Israel & I enjoy their products.

It provides excellent control of short-length pistol builds but certainly makes the firearm hard to fit in a case. Not like putting a flashlight or laser dot on the gun, but most cases assume that the mag well is bare.

I just got these in and added them to my rifles. everything is as I expected; they are AMAZING! a word of advice, however, these do not fit on ALL lowers. Luckily, I have a lot of ARs, so i found two that did fit on. They didn't fit on my aero lowers because aero has a flared mag well. They also didn't fit on some of my other ARs because I'm running trigger guards like a strike industries cobra trigger guard. Just some things to be aware of when ur buying....otherwise, the product is as advertised, and I like having the grip option, especially on some of my longer rifles and more powerful rounds like the Beowulf.....and it just looks badass!!

I enjoy using the fab defense mwg, and this one is easy to install and feels very comfortable.

I make 5-6 adjustments to every AR that I own. I install a phase 5 EBR bolt release lever, a Raptor ambi charging handle, a light, (crimson trace or TLR-1 from Stream light), a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot with a mount from American Defense (which will hold zero at 100 yards if removed) and this mag-well funnel to aide in reloading. Honestly - this $20 part can take a full 2 seconds off your reloading time if used in conjunction with the Phase 5 EBR and the Raptor ambidextrous charging handle. I highly recommend all of these upgrades - mag well funnel/grip included!

This is an excellent, well-made ar mag grip. I liked it when I tried it with my Magpul Gen M2 magazine. The problem was when I tried using the new, more beefy Magpul Gen M3 magazine. It would get stuck against the magazine rib. I grinded down the bottom back part of the Mag-well grip. Problem solved, but nut and bolt channel ground away. Still useable but with only two front screws. Bought Strac mag-well grip with no mounting screws. I liked it better; no problem with ant magazine.

ordered one i liked it so well i ordered more , easy to install , great fit , fits my large hands very good , l have not got my next order yet as they had to back order !

It fills my hand!! Excellent grip, the product fits the mag well quite well.

It fits my Anderson lower perfectly. I love the look and the feel. Will recommend and buy again.
