The EGW red dot mount for revolvers is an outstanding option for anyone wishing to mount a red dot on a Revolver. One mounted in place (which is simple to do), it allows you to bring your revolver into the 21st century. I found my revolver to be accurate and faster to use due to faster sight acquisition. I use only .357 magnum ammunition in my Ruger and the mount stayed firmly in place even with the recoil of the magnum ammunition. I was able to easily complete a moving target course because of the ease of using the red dot. This is my second use of an EGW revolver mount; I have their similar mount for Smith and Wesson revolvers on my model 610 10mm revolver. This is a great option for updating your revolver.

Easy swap out for the factory rear sight. Zeroing used most of the elevation adjustment in the optic, but did not need to shim and bed. 50 rds so far, holding steady.
