Trijicon RM09 Type 2: RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED Sight – 1.0 MOA Red Dot
Developed to improve precision and accuracy with any style or caliber of weapon, the Trijicon RMR (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex) Type 2 is designed to be as durable as the legendary ACOG. The RM09 is an LED sight powered by a standard CR2032 battery. Housed in rugged forged aluminum, it’s extremely tough yet lightweight. The easy-to-use adjusters with audible clicks allow for quick windage and elevation adjustments.
With eight available brightness settings, the reticle can be manually adjusted by pressing the plus or minus buttons on either side of the unit. To switch to auto adjust mode simply press both buttons simultaneously and release. To save battery life turn the optic off by pressing both buttons simultaneously and holding for 3 seconds.

Great Red Dot sight

I love this RMR Red dot sight with 1.0 moa. I have mounted on my 300 and can’t say enough—nice clear and crisp dot. Built very well... you know that this thing can take a little beating. The auto-on is excellent!!! I was a little hesitant with the price, but it is worth every penny. I will be getting one for my next build.

I had a 3.25 moa RMR on my Freedom Arms 454 Casull, and on a rainy day at dusk, the combination dot size, brightness not adjustable, and some astigmatism made the dot pretty well cover a deer at 30 yards! So I ordered the 1 MOA adjustable brightness RMR. I wouldn't suggest rapid-fire or self-defense, but the ability to increase or decrease brightness with aimed fire make the 1 moa dot great! I can aim much more precisely and turn up brightness during bright daylight and down at dusk. Handles recoil with no issue. I wish I had the adjustable dot on my other pistols to use it with my night vision equipment.

I initially went with the RM06 3 Moa but saw a giant blob of a dot. I purchased this Trijicon rm09 1 MOA, and it works better for me. The dot looks much better with my astigmatism and probably closer to 3 Moa for me, so it turned out for the better. Quality is top-notch and a battery life of 3 or more years is just a bonus. Well worth the price.

This is the best small, open, red dot on the market for a few reasons. First, unlike the Leupold Delta Point and all of Vortex's offerings, the RMR is small enough to mount on a pistol and co-witness with all suppressor height sights. Additionally, the brightness and on/off controls are much easier to use in day-to-day carry use or high-stress situations. Furthermore, this red dot is designed to be abused. The type 2 RMR was specifically designed to be mounted in brutal places, whether it's on a .45 ACP pistol or a battle rifle that is going to get beat up every day; it's pretty easy to trust that this thing will keep on running. Plus, the click values are accurate, and the zero holds true. What more could you ask for.

This optic is a definite upgrade from the 3.25 MOA I had on my Glock G40 10MM. It improved shot placement on 50+ yard shots pretty darn close to rifle performance. The longest shot was on a hog at 78 yards. I don’t as shooting Federal Premium 180gr trophy bonded JSP’s. It went behind the left shoulder and pierced both lungs. I missed the heart, however. A shot would never have attempted with the 3.25 MOA Trijicon. But when I sight the picture I got from the 1 MOA dot was just too tempting. And I’m glad I took the shot cause now I know what this optic can do. Big thanks to Trijicon for their outstanding work.
