The NcSTAR STM3942GV2 Gen2 MK3 TAC3 9x42 MIL/GRN scope is a high-performance optic designed for tactical and long-range shooting. Great AR15 Scope

Very nice scope. Very clear and easy to look through. I mounted it on my AR15 at a 45 degree angle because I wanted to keep my iron sights. I have another AR15 which I have a Bushnell scope mounted on it; and I like this scope better, and I paid about half the price. Easy to pick up your target; trust me you will not be disappointed.

Great glass. Clear without any noticeable distortion. The reticle is a bit thick, and the illumination just washes the entire reticle as well as the inside of the tube. I run this with a 45° offset red dot for CQB shooting so no problem. I love the 3-9 magnification.for those longer shots. The magnification rimg turns like butter. The scope is lightweight.

I mounted this scope on my Colt M4 6720 and have no negatives to report... It does not interfere with my Magpul MBUS at all, so a quick detach allows me to choose between the two quickly and stays zeroed upon reattachment. Precise optics and excellent features make this a huge bang-for-the-buck tactical scope!

I picked this up on a whim for the AR I built for hunting yotes amd javalina: excellent clarity and eye relief. When I hunt, it's mounted to the front of my quad in kolpin grips and goes through some nasty terrain. It's been on my AR for three years now, and after about 2,000 rounds on the range and 12 trips through the mountains, my zero hasn't budged. Highly impressed with it. I just bought another one for the AR I'm building my wife.

I was looking for a AR 15 scope with variable magnification and an etched reticle with MOA Marks. This scope was around 100$ or so and it had everything I was looking for, plus a green and blue reticle illuminator which I came to find out wasn't all that great, and it served as kind of a distraction, tbh. But it holds zero. After I put it on the first time, it was a bit wobbly. I fixed this by following the instructions provided on how to tighten the scope to the mount and so on. Overall this is a great scope for the money. Clear picture, zoom is great, and it also comes with dust covers. I would def recommend this product to a friend.

Workmanship, layout, and attention to features and detail are above average. Field of view, clarity, and light gathering qualities are similar to others in this price range. Reticle thickness is on the heavy side... possibly not be to ones liking. Particular attention must be given to quick release tension adjustment... avoiding stripping threads. The AR scope's rail mount base is the removable accommodating rotation of base 180 degrees... giving choice of quick release latch to be on either side.
