Build quality seems solid but unfortunately didn't fit my AK, it was just a millimeter too long and wouldn't seat correctly. Don't want to take away from the product but it said it fits most AKM style rifles. Just unfortunate mine wasn't one of them.

Don't waste your money. It's junk does fit no matter how much you try and modify it. Very poor design. Tried it on 4 different AKs and will not fit. The 2 screws on the rear of the cover are useless. I'm very disappointed.

NCstar Picatinny rail scope mount for AK 47 is an absolute piece of garbage save your time effort you would get more for your money by just flushing it down the toilet.. I should have done further research. It seems to be the overall consensus that this is a piece of feces.. I wish I could give it zero or negative stars

Please note that when installing, you'll need to adjust your cover to fit properly, given that each AKM manufacturer uses different tolerances! Last year, I purchased this and installed it onto my CAI RH10 (Wasr 10). Some sanding and minor bending was required to ensure a proper fit. Once adjusted, it fit my weapon well and remained secure without popping off. However, it does present a slight challenge with my iron sights, which are of the RPK style. They collide with the top of the picatinny rail, preventing me from using the iron sights below a 400-meter range.

While this product may initially require some adjustments, such as filing and bending, to ensure a perfect fit, the effort will indeed pay off. With patience and careful execution, you can achieve a firm mount with virtually no wobble. This AK Scope Mount proves to be a viable and affordable alternative to pricier options like the Texas Weapon System rail. Despite its budget-friendly price, it doesn't compromise on solidity or performance, standing as a testament to the value it offers. I spent just a couple of hours fitting it to my AK rifle, resulting in a secure attachment. However, it's crucial to undertake the filing and dremeling process slowly to avoid a loose fit. Having invested considerable time and care in achieving the perfect fit, I found the other reviewers' experiences not reflective of my own. The product may not fit straight out of the box, but with a bit of patience and effort, it transforms into a robust rail now gracing my backup AK pattern. I would rate it a solid 4.5 out of 5.

I recently purchased this dust cover with picatinny rail for my Norinco MAK-90. The instructions I read online and videos I watched instructed me to file the buffer spring hole to fit as there is no standardization for AK's. 3 hours and lots of metal shavings later the dust cover won't stay in place and the buffer spring kicks the dust cover off the receiver every time it cycles, plus the dust cover does not allow the safety to engage when "Properly installed." DON"T buy this product!

No matter how much filing/bending I did I could not get this to fit. Don't waste your money.

They do not bother answering any questions about products and are very slow at shipping.. I never leave bad comments but this just turned me off and now I am stuck with a product that Doesn’t work and it all could of been avoided by just answering a simple question

So I bought this AK Mount last year and installed it on my Wasr 10. To make it fit right I had to y sand and bend it a little. Now it works good on my AK and does not fall off. However, I do have a problem with my iron sights because I have RPK style slights. It'll hit the top of the Picatinny rail and will not allow me to use iron sights below 400 meters.
