I set the Vortex vmx 3t up with Eoteck Xps3 works well. Eye relief is a bit short. After using it at the range worked well out to a hundred yards but very hard to see impact point. The unit is very solid and clear but a bit heavy. If they made an one with a adjustable magnification may 3 to 7 would be great. Until then This seems to work Ok.

While designed to flip to the left by simply pushing the release button and rolling the magnifier in or out of alignment with your optic, I didn't like the idea of blocking my field of vision (I'm right eye dominant). As such, I flipped the mount. It now operates with a pull of the release button and a swing of the magnifier into or out of alignment with my optic. Easy peasy. Works great.

Bought this to go behind my SPARC 2 and I couldn't be happier. This is a great 3x magnifier and comes with a flip to side base that is solid and well built. It is perfectly clear when looking through it and has a turn style focus that works great. The description is wrong on that it has a 2.25in eye relief not 3.25 so that should be changed (it is clearly stated on my box at 2.25). Also it is 4.3in long so makesure you have enough rail space for this and whatever optic you have it behind. I had to remove the MBUS sights to mount it and the SPARC 2 on my Colt LE6920. This paired with my SPARC 2 makes a great close and ranged red dot set up and I am very pleased with the quality of it. If you are looking for a great 3x magnifier then look no further, buy this and enjoy some added magnification to a standard red dot. Also I will note that this made the dot look more crisp to me ( I have an astigmatism) and to my brother who has perfect vision so that's a plus as well.

It works great, I was having trouble seeing down range, so I got this vortex 3x magnifier. Now makes it so much easier to pinpoint certain areas of targets at 100 yards. Would definitely recommend it, don't know how I was shooting without it.

I put this Red Dot Magnifier on my LWRC AR-15 Rail with my Bushnell TR-25 Red Dot. The Vortex Magnifier mounted perfectly in line with the Bushnell TR-25 Red Dot and was working Perfectly! -I decided to test it on my Expensive EOTech EXP on my other Daniel Defense AR-15 with my EOTech Red Dot, and it too lined up Perfectly on the Rail. I was considering the EOTech G33 for $500+ to go with my EOTech EXP Red Dot, but after testing this Vortex Magnifier I am currently ordering another. -The eye relieve on this Vortex 3x is better than acceptable and better than my friend G33 EOTech 3x Magnifier I tested before getting this Vortex Magnifier. -"Get this Vortex," as it Mounts Perfectly, the Hing is Rock Solid when switching from usage to non-usage. Super impressed with the Vortex Magnifier, especially when you consider the Cost!!! This is one of those rare Cases where a Magnifier costing more is better. This Vortex 3x impressed me for under $200 more than the EOTech's 3x costing $500 and upwards...

Eye relief is a bit more than sufficient Clarity is great Focus adjustment works great Adjustment screws work as intended Finish is flawless Lifetime VIP Warranty The flip mount works great, but I feel the Vortex vmx 3t has a design flaw. It's default configuration swings the optic to the left, obstructed my view. After flipping the base of the mount, it now swings out to the right. The only complaint I have is the release button is now facing forward on the right rather than the optimal back left. Left-handed shooters should be happy with the default setup. I have this mounted on my AAC 300 BLACKOUT AR, directly after my backup sight just in front of my Strikefire. I wouldn't change anything with my current configuration. It works like a charm.

I purchased this 3x magnifier to pair up to my vortex red dot. I am seeing that the vmx-3t magnifier is half the price of other brands, its not bad for the money. The clamp that tightens to the rail still had a little wobble even after tightening all the way down. I put a shim in and that took care of the problem, but I don't feel that I should of had to resort to that. all in all not bad but I wish I had just waited and saved my money for a ACOG

I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about. The Vortex 3x magnifier clears my Magpul backup sight and flips out of the way if I would need to use it. The mount is sturdy, and I have had no play or wobble of any kind. The push-button easily flips up and lowers the magnifier. The magnifier is nitrogen-filled to prevent internal fogging. It provides a fixed 3X magnification and includes two adjustment turrets to center the red dot in the magnifier. Wherever the red dot is placed is where the bullet will impact, regardless of where you see it within the tube of the magnifier. Vortex makes great products for a lot less money than the other big manufacturers.

I have been running the vortex magnifier for 3 years plus with a Strikefire 2, and it has helped put the hurt on many a pig. I've also used it in 3 gun comps and never had an issue. It stays put, gives me the distance when needed, and rolls out of the way when I don't need it. Durability is excellent, I've dragged it in and out of the truck and buggy, river bottoms and thickets countless times and still cleans up good and delivers for a match at the range.

I put the vortex 3x magnifier on a 9mm AR-style carbine with a Vortex Sparc red dot. They work great together; clear vision, enough magnification for 9mm range out to 100 yds. At the indoor range, I can flip it to the side and just use the red dot. It was easy to install and align the two parts and have them on target. If you have iron sights on your rifle, you might have to remove them as the eye relief isn't long. With my bad eyes, this Vortex magnifier is great, and I would buy it again. MSP shipping is always prompt with plenty of tracking updates.

I bought this Vortex VMX 3T to put behind m EOTech because at 100 yards, I couldn't see my target very well. Now I was able to zero in easily at 100 yards and even see my shot. The only negative was that it used up all my rail on my AR-15.
