This is a must have item.
I shoot in 3 Gun competitions. We shoot from 20 feet to 600 yards sometimes in the same stage. The bubble level has made a massive difference in making the long-distance shoots. I have one on all my rifles.
Works as intended
This works as intended. Be cautious with the amount of torque used on the bolt and how often you remove and install on different scopes. The metal ring can get overworked and split. Set up can be tricky, but a small amount of torque goes a long way for leveling and clamping force.
Simple, yet effective
I installed this on a comp bolt gun for mid/long-range shooting. It works very well. If you shoot with both eyes open and mount this level just forward of your turrets, it will superimpose itself perfectly into your reticle view. No need to lose your cheek weld to verify your position. It does exactly what I need.
My 4th Vortex 30mm lopro level
The good level has mounted on 2 Vortex scopes and a primary arms 4-14x44 as others have said, they move while torquing down, but after the third install figured how to compensate for that movement for an easy install. so as I write this review, I am purchasing a 4th one to mount on a new vortex going on a new Ruger predator .243
High speed, low drag
One thing...I'm sure it'll install on many scopes without removal; however be aware if you have low rings, Pic Rail with less than 1/2" clearance you may have to remove scope as i did. Nice profile of the bubble level...very slim, not bulky or gaudy tactical looking. On the bubble side, the position and amount of where it sticks out are just perfect in the 2:00 upper or 5:00 lower position. It can be set up for left or right-hand shooters. The bubble is very accurate and "fast,"...meaning just a little bit of cant/tilt moves the bubble quickly to the left or right...it is very sensitive. There are two lines to either side of the bubble center, customarily in construction to let the user know you are at a 2-degree cant. I did not check to see if it is calibrated as such or what the cant truely is at the second line. The mineral spirit inside is a shade of green that is not too dark, nor too light which the eye picks up the bubble nicely in low light conditions and isn't washed out in bright conditions. There is a nice round sight hole on top, and the bubble is just the right size to fit in it if view from above (such as benchrest), and is nice to shroud the top and other parts of the bubble, making it very stout and protected from damage and "washing out" in sunlight. It also seems to reduce the amount of glare or shine off the vial exposing only the part of the level you need to see. - PRETTY SLICK! I was a little concerned taking it out of round while installing it as it only has 1 mounting screw and you have to spread open the ring to get it around your tube but found there is no issue within a reasonable amount of spreading it open. Yes, you have to tinker with it to get it level as with all bubble levels to get it true while tightening. All and all very happy with this bubble, sturdier than it looks, and as with most Vortex products, it's well thought out with the end-user in mind. It also looks elegant compared to most ring or scope tube-mounted levels.
Tricky to level
The vortex lo pro bubble level 34mm works fine. The only downside is it took forever to get it in agreement with another level due to its changing angle as it is tightened down. Unit is smaller and lightweight, not bulky as other anti cant devices I have.

Neat thing
Vortex makes the lightest, low profile bubble level. The workmanship is top-notch. However the alignment is hard, as the tightening of the screw immediately puts it out of level.
Great Little Optic Level
I used the Vortex lo pro bubble level in preparation for a few Precision Rifle Competitions this summer, and it works great. I had to remove the optic from the gun to install but no big deal. I've gotten hits all the out to 1,300 yards with a 6mm Dasher, and all of the shots have been free of any scope cant!!!
Great lightweight level!
This level takes up very little space on your scope and doesn't add a lot of weight to it. It is a small challenge to keep your rifle level and the bubble level as you tighten the screw, but if you account for the circumferential displacement from tightening the screw when you position it on your scope tube, it is not too difficult to install. The bubble has remained accurate on a 338 LM, so I think the durability is sufficient for high recoil. I would not try to install this without removing the scope as too much bending will break the thin metal that makes up the strap surrounding the scope tube. Overall, it is small, light and accurate, and as good a level as I have used. Plus, you have the Vortex customer service to back you up.
