Trijiocn RM05G: Dual-Illuminated RMR 9 MOA Green Dot
The Dual-Illuminated Trijicon RMR uses fiber optics and tritium to illuminate the reticle. Fiber optics collect ambient light, automatically adjusting the reticle brightness. In situations with no (or low) light, the tritium illuminates the reticle. This version is popular with shooters who prefer a battery-free solution.
The RM05 family has a green 9.0 MOA dot, which is simple to use and easy to find. The U.S. Marine Corps chose the 9.0 MOA dot for use in both the SDO and MDO optics programs. For those wanting our a diffrent size aiming point take a look at other our Trijicon RMR Dual Illuminated models.

trijicon rm05g rmr green dot sight
I'm pretty impressed with this Trijicon rm05g sight... ok, I'm amazed with this Trijicon rmr green dot sight ... I've mounted it on my Glock 17 Gen 4 MOS, and I've also mounted one on my Glock 40 Gen 4 MOS ... I've got crazy eyes, let's say, and while I was a pretty good shot with standard sights, now I'm a regular Annie, er, Arnie Oakley with the Trijicon green dot sights.
My Trijicon RMR 9 moa green dot review
This Red Dot Sight was recommended to me by a friend in Special Ops. He is dead on right in recommending this product. The Trijicon RM05g Excellent in both low light and daylight. Self adjusts to conditions. MOA illumination is not overly obtrusive. The product is physically small but so far has proven to be very durable. We shoot year round-up here and it's nice not to have to worry about batteries, especially in subzero conditions. No fumbling for an ON switch with your gloves. Definitely worth the extra money.
Buy with confidence
I have a standard RMR, adjustable, and the dual illuminated. My first encounter with the dual illuminated RMR was in the marine corps. It has never failed a marine in training or combat uses. If you’re concerned about putting an RMR on a carry gun because if battery failer then just go with the dual illuminated. The tritium will not quit. It is beyond me why it is not nearly as popular for that reason. That ok though because it makes it cheaper anyways! Like the title says buy with confidence. I trust my life with it.
