Product Description

Maximum Recoil Reduction in a Compact, Rugged Design.

Features an innovative reverse venting double baffle design for the highest recoil reduction in its class. Closed bottom construction combined with upward biased venting efficiently eliminates both muzzle rise and dust signature. Precision machined from heat treated stainless steel for superior durability, the Precision Armament M4-72 can withstand the extreme heat of combat conditions without being subject to rapid erosion. Available with an advanced Ionbond® high temperature CrCN coating (matte black).

Designed to fit AK-47 style rifles (7.62x39mm) with 14x1mm LH threads.

Comes with two heavy duty proprietary crush springs (2 installations) offering the required pre-load for a rock solid fit and accurate alignment.

Warning: Reverse venting design may cause excessive blast/concussion on barrels shorter than 14.5″.

Just received the break a couple days ago, and I have noticed a significant difference. Absolutely wonderful. The extra gas blow back in the face is a surprise, but a welcome. Would absolutely get this one again.

I detected no percussive slap associated with using this brake, but I did get a stiff breeze of gunsmoke blowing past my face, which is exhilarating and just plain fun at the range. This turned my AK from mild to wild to shoot. The brake is effective at smoothing out and reducing overall recoil turning it from typically jarring AK into a very gentle and slow shove. The noises the gun makes hearing the bolt carrier racking back into the trunion and the huge splashes of the 7.62x39 pills smacking into the berm like freight trains are really your only real indicators that you are shooting a fairly powerful round. It's well worth the price of admission!!!

Very well built (hooray American workers) and quiet effective. Worth every penny for recoil reduction and especially for controlling muzzle rise between shots. Yes, it's more expensive than the Chinese counterparts but you get what you pay. Very satisfied and would recommend to my friends (if I had any, hahahaha). Very nice addition to my Molot Vepr, thanks.
