I'd been using flip up sights for so long on my AR platform builds I'd forgotten about fixed sights. When this build came around I again started looking for flip up sights from most of the usual 'suspects' I get them from (e.g. Troy, Danial Defense, etc... even from Samson). But it just so happens one of the regulars at the range and I were talking about the builds we were working on and he had purchased a set of these Samson sights and mentioned them. So why not I thought. Now I am glad I did. They arrived today, put them on the rifle and went to the range. The sights are great quality, mount solid, look great, zeroed right up no muss no fuss, and absolute co-witness with the red dot perfectly. Good quality flip sights sets are expensive for real same plane with a properly sized HK style hooded front sight hood. Most of the lesser priced brands people go with usually don't get the hood size correct for a standard M4 sight radius of 14.5 inches on a flat top, the Samson front sight with this package is correct for the hood size and sight radius. The combo allows for very quick aiming. The only thing I'd like to suggest is maybe offer a high visibility sight post option also. The standard A2 post this comes with is fine, nothing wrong with it but my eyes are getting old so I might paint the front post with some florescent paint or get a Blitzkrieg A2 sight post. But over all this was money well spent and I am completely satisfied with this product.

This is an excellent flat-rail height fixed front sight with superior design and construction. It lines up perfectly with other standard rail sights (I have a Troy Di-Optic Aperture Rear Fixed Battle Sight) and looks great. Love the design, with the slightly pinched, HK-style 3/4 hood. It also has a slight front pitch to help keep it snag-free. In my opinion, this is the best LOOKING sight of its' type. Standard anodized black that matches any other sight with the same finish. Have to throw a shout out to Blitzkrieg! Get their chevron A2 front sight post and you will not be disappointed, it makes this sight wicked easy to point and shoot.

Samson fixed ar iron sights are easy to install, heavy-duty steel construction, and sends it to 0 on a freedom gun platform. Not much more to say.

I matched this to a UTG Rear Sight, and it's the correct height. I had a UTG front sight, but being 100% honest, I got this one for looks because the UTG is a bit humdrum looking, albeit functional (I had a tiny quibble with the front sight post not being replaceable, but that's for a different review). This front sight is the proper A-2 square type, and the hooded wings are a severe bonus as they assist you in getting a quicker sight picture.

Not much to say, beats cheap flip-up style sights by a long shot. Have used Samson AR fixed sights on several nonoptics black rifles and have never been disappointed.

I bought the ar15 fixed sights. Zeroing the sight was a bit of a challenge, but once it's zeroed, you’re good to go. I ran these on 223/308 fixed and solid. I ran it on 300 blackout and I had to readjust. Still, I give it 5 stars because of the quality, finish, and price.
