Sadlak Industries M14 National Match Spring Guide
The Sadlak Industries Spring Guide for National Match enhances the steadiness and flawless movement of the operating rod, which assists to lower wearing out and raises rifle precision, compared to the regular stamped GI Guide.
NM Spring Guides from Sadlak Industries are NOT created from a stamped GI guide (cut-off) joined to a circular drill rod. These NM GI guides which are make-shift many times present a supple magazine catch resulting from the welding and might not be accurately aligned due to inadequate fixturing.
NM spring guides from SpacerSadlak are created to similar specifications as for national match rifles for the military. The accuracy is improved by creating them from a single solid section of round tool steel (8620) without welding to cause deformation.
Each is case strengthened to HRc of 40-45 in a still gas furnace to assist in sustenance of levelness and equal hardness for durability. Their finishing is with Mil. Spec manganese phosphate or Parkerized, which is immune to corrosion.
The uniqueness of NM Spring Guides from Sadlak Industries as well as increased accuracy is the precision alignment of Sadlak Industries of the guide shaft’s magazine catch.
This is attained by rotating the shaft of .344 diameters from a solid rod of huger diameter. Then, the magazine catch is precision machined (CNC) while being positioned from the guide shaft.
Flats from FSadlak Industries are milled into a shaft body of .344 to decrease weight as well as friction between the springs, which increases the flawless action as it accurately directs the operating rod.

one of the first upgrades you should do on an m1a. makes for a much smoother action shooting and reduces some recoil. the magazine even feels like it's easier to get locked into place now

The Sadlak spring guide is a very cheap way to improve an already great rifle. Easy installation. You can feel the quality of the product in your hand. Works flawlessly in my SA loaded model with medium SS barrel.

The original Springfield Armory m1a spring guide rod wouldn't hold some mags in at times. It might have been worn after years of service but the tolerances of this one is tighter and should solve that problem. If you have some mags break loose at the front try one of these. Very well made. Sadlak makes good stuff. I bought a match tin coated gas piston made by them as well for heavier long range bullets. It will save your op rod and reduce recoil a bit.

The Sedlak spring guide Fits perfect on 15k ser# Springfield m1a. Improves smoothness, but I didn't realize what an improvement it would have on mag install and removal. Mags now slide in with much less effort and are also easier to drop.

This is by far the best upgrade I have added to my Springfield Armory M1A Socom 16. The factory spring guide is flat and allows the spring to wiggle uncontrollably while the action is cycling. This is a high-quality replacement that is round (fully supporting the recoil spring and eliminating rough shakes and jerks in action). Immediately after I installed this replacement spring guide, I noticed a large friction reduction in the bolt-carrier, making it smooth and crisp. This upgrade will lengthen the life of your recoil spring and bolt carrier assembly, and greatly improve the functioning of your rifle.

I ordered 3 weeks ago today, I have yet to receive it because its out of stock, even though the site itself doesn't state an item is in stock when you order it. I probably would have looked elsewhere if i knew they didn't have it. It would be nice to get an update. It could be here tomorrow, or in 3 months, i'll never know. From what I see this product is definitely quality, and everyone loves it though, so I can't wait to get it.

I'm pretty sure it helps my SOCOM work smoother while firing, but I'm no expert on .308 recoils. Loading a magazine into my SOCOM feels so much smoother and easier than the standard GI guide and with that said. I know this is a terrific product. When I get another M1A I will get another one of these Spring guide's from Mounting Solutions Plus! Thank you guys!

Easy installation. Improves the cycling of the gun, plus it improves the magazine insertion and retention over the stock guide. For the improvement it is a small price to pay. Check out the rest of the SADLAK line great products for M!A's.
