Sadlak Industries Reinforced QD Post Assembly for M14/M1A Stocks
Front Swivel Replacement for mounting QD-Type Bipod
The Reinforced Quick Disconnect (QD) Post Assembly replaces the stock M14 front swivel for a more rugged, durable bipod attachment.
To eliminate cracking of the stock during heavy recoil use or rough handling, the oval washer design has approx. Three times the load disbursement over the standard single QD post designed for use with a Harris bipod or other Bipods using the standard QD post.
Once the QD post is installed, you have the flexibility of attaching a Bipod or detachable QD Super swivel (optional accessories #6A, #6B see below). All hardware and screws have mil-spec — Manganese Phosphate finish. The internal Nut Plate can be further supported by permanently bedding it into the stock using Devcon Steel Epoxy or other bedding compounds.

I received the item a day ahead of schedule! It's a good alternative to a QD bipod setup. Comes nicely packaged with clear instructions. Keep in mind, this is designed for specific M1A stocks as advertised. Easy to install with minor stock modification using a punch and dremel. Recommend for reducing rifle weight. My bipod attached seamlessly with no issues. Great product!

I bought the mount to attach a bipod or sling to my M1A. Note: installation requires tools (dremel, drill, epoxy, and thread locker). Modification to the rifle stock is necessary for proper fit without hindering the operating rod. Properly fitted and secured with epoxy, the mount is solid. I highly recommend Sadlak for replacing the stock sling attachment on the Springfield M1A. I was thoroughly impressed and will be a repeat customer.

Follow Sadlak's instructions, and you will not have any problems. I installed this on a Springfield M1A National Match Walnut Stock over a year ago. It is a solid mount. Sadlak makes excellent parts for the M14 family.

This is a very well-engineered technical solution and a very well-made part. This part is the perfect professional solution for mounting a sling swivel for mounting a Harris bipod on my Springfield Armory M1A Socom 16. I called Sadlak Industries with a question on this and ended up talking with Michael Sadlak himself! The man knows his stuff and has a passion for his craft. All of his stuff is well thought out and the first-rate.

It requires some careful inlaying on inside of forestock to seat reinforcement deep enough to clear the op-rod. A little work with a rotary tool recessed the backing plate, and I epoxied in place. Works great. I was used for my Harris bipod.

Another quality product from Sadlak! Now you will have to do some drilling for this QD Post Assembly. Instructions are included and like all Sadlak items are very clear, but at the end, you will have a solid post to mount a Harris Bipod.
