Nightforce continues to deliver high-quality products, and this ring cap bubble level is no exception. Please note that the product I am reviewing does not come with the side elevation mount as shown in the picture. It is a top bubble level with a 4-screw mount specifically designed for 30mm scopes. This level ring makes the initial leveling of the rifle and scope base a breeze before installing the scope. Once you have installed your scope with this level ring, you're ready to go.

The ring cap bubble level is a great fit for my original one-piece mount. It helps maintain a level rifle for consistent shot placement. The price is reasonable and in line with my expectations. The bubble is positioned at eye level, making it easy to see. I decided to purchase this product after receiving a recommendation from a friend and hearing positive reviews from him.

I decided to complete my Night Force setup and purchased the ring cap bubble level to go along with my Night Force scope and rings. I installed it on my Remington 700 Tactical and it looks fantastic and shoots even better. The bubble level has instantly improved my accuracy by eliminating any cant issues. As an older shooter, I appreciate all the assistance that modern technology can provide.

The design of the level is impressive and straightforward to install, replacing the previous top half of the ring. I've been using mine for almost two months now and have fired around 500 rounds. It has performed as advertised with no signs of breakage or splitting of the bubble. Initially, I was worried that it might be difficult to see with my middle-aged eyes when mounted on the rear ring, and even more so if mounted on the front ring with the elevation turret obstructing the view. However, that has not been the case. It's easy to quickly look up and check if the bubble is centered when lining up the shot. Although the level may appear slightly blurred due to my visual limitations, the lines are still clear and it's easy to determine if the bubble is centered. The level is less vulnerable to damage in this design, as opposed to one that is offset to the side of the scope. If you imagine a line connecting the rear of the eyepiece to the top of the turret, it becomes apparent that any impact that would break the level would cause much greater problems than a damaged sight glass.
