Are you looking to install a picatinny rail on your Mossberg 500, Mossberg 590, Mossberg 835, Mossberg 930, or your Mossberg 935? Our picatinny rail for the Mossberg 500, Mossberg 590, Mossberg 835, Mossberg 930, and Mossberg 935 is easy to install. It only requires 4 screws and a T10 Torx bit, both of which are provided with our picatinny mount. We even send #8-40 and #6-48 screws, so no matter when your Mossberg shotgun was manufactured, our rail will fit. Just remove any plugs in the receiver that were installed from the factory, place our mount on the receiver, use a dab of blue thread locker and install the screws. Make sure to torque them to 15 in/lbs.
We recommend measuring the hole spacing in your receiver to confirm it matches with the dimensions we have published.
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. Our one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.
We machine these in our shop using one of our machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type II anodized for long lasting durability.
Installation: We recommend 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is available through our website and is sold separately).

Solid
I mounted this on an older, pre-‘97 Mossberg 500. I mounted an old Aimpoint on it. After about 30 slugs through it my shoulder is a little sore. But the mount is doing its job.
Solid option considering the price of other brands
I've fired around 100 rounds of 12 gauge birdshot and several boxes of OO buck with this mount and it has held up well. It provides a solid platform for mounting a TRS-25 Red Dot sight. If you're looking for a shotgun optic mount, this appears to be a good option. I may add some blue loctite for extra security, but it has held up fine so far without it. There is a slight protrusion beyond the end of the shotgun receiver, but it hasn't caused any issues with the scabbard catching on it.
Solid Mossberg 500 Scope Mount
This mount is sturdy and worked well for my Mossberg 500, however, I concur with another reviewer that the description is lacking, hence the 4-star rating. I took a chance like the other reviewer, but I was not as lucky. The screws I received were too big, but I was able to resolve the issue by using the correct screws from my scope and base screw kit, which had a variety of sizes. I applied some locktite and now have a solid mount for my Holosight.
Just mounted this on my ...
I recently installed this on my Mossberg 590 and I am impressed with the quality of the fit and finish. The optic is securely mounted. The only drawback is the lack of clear information in the product description. There are two mounts available for this model, the "Post 93" and the "Pre 97", but I was unable to determine the difference and ended up ordering blindly. Many Mossberg weapons were produced both pre and post-1997, and it appears that the main distinction lies in screw size. Providing screw size information or a clearer differentiation between the years the rail fits would have been helpful.
Excellent and well built ...
This mount is excellent and well-constructed, fitting perfectly into the receiver holes of my Mossberg 590. It secures tightly with no movement, and the rails are to specification, ensuring accessories lock in place securely.
