Magpul M-LOK® Tape Switch Mounting Plate Surefire ST M-LOK® Slot System
The M-LOK® Tape Switch Mounting Plate is a mount designed to attach Surefire ST pressure pads on M-LOK® compatible systems. It is molded of the same high quality polymer as other Magpul products providing light weight with extremely rugged construction, and the M-LOK® recoil lugs and T-Nuts make for an extremely secure mounting system. A low profile design allows the user more mounting options without interfering with other equipment and it’s rounded and beveled edges provides a snag free surface.

Holds tight, but you still have to take your Mlok handguard off.

Followed instructions that come with item, however, the nuts would not catch properly. Wound up only tightening up the screws and the item would not be secured in place. Wound up having to take the hand guard off, hold the nuts in place with pliers while tightening. I'm surprised by Magpul to have this very poor design.

The surefire tape switch mount fits really well, holds the pressure pad securely. Actually worked out much better than I thought it would. Fits perfectly at the 45 degree/offset positions on a Giessele MK8 rail, actually as if it were made to fit there.

This Magpul surefire pressure switch mount is super simple installation. If you know the difference between clockwise and counter-clockwise, you are over prepared for install. This product only addresses the switch itself, not the cable. You will need to address that with another product.

Bought this magpul pressure switch mount as a curiosity, after dealing with Velcro a solid mount seemed like a good idea. However I have a quick detach mount on my light so not sure this makes sense for me but I will say it works well. I like the raised front edge of the switch slot, it provides a tactile indicator and also helps me keep my thumb of the switch till I need it. The mount itself bolts solidly to my Midwest handguard but it is long on my carbine. But this is a predator/home defense rifle so it won't kill me to leave the light attached.

this fit my tape switch that was 1/2 as lone as the surefire switch it was made for. works great and fix's this mounting problem great

A must-have for your surefire pressure switch. No need for expensive mounts. This works perfectly fine. You can't go wrong with Magpul.
