Initially, I balked at the $80.00 price tag for a wrench, especially when my primary need was to remove the flash hider from my rifle. However, given the limited alternatives, I decided to give it a shot, thinking I could always return it if it didn't meet my expectations. To my surprise, the wrench fit perfectly, facilitating the removal of the flash hider and the installation of my new muzzle with ease. Its design not only simplifies the task compared to using a Cresent wrench but also ensures the barrel and parts remain scratch-free. Moreover, it's versatile enough to handle other specialized tasks, like removing castle nuts. When you consider the range of specialty tools it replaces, the price becomes justifiable. Believe me, this will be the only tool you'll need. I wholeheartedly recommend this wrench to builders, customizers, and AR specialists. I've decided to keep it, confident that it'll prove its value over time.

The Magpul Armorer's Wrench was heavy-duty and reliable. It never once felt like it was going to break on me, and I've already used it half a dozen times on my mil-spec barrel nut. However, the pegs on the other side of the classic mil-spec barrel nut will not fit aero's bar barrel nut. If they used 3-4 pins, it'd have more use. It's also expensive, and it's hard to justify its limited function and cost, but I suppose that if you are doing nothing but mil-spec then it'd be worth it for you.

I haven't run the Magpul armorer's wrench across too many rifles currently, but it had saved me the trouble of going and fetching a hammer a few feet away when I needed one. Works as you would expect on castle nuts and muzzle devices. Not much damage to the finish, not even after hammering a few items, and I missed that it had a bottle opener. Great addition. Feels like a tool I will have for many years, though I will update if it fails before then.

Solid tool. My only complaint is that the wrench for the muzzle device is assuming you're attaching a birdcage. I want to attach a KX5 and will have to use another wrench. Not a big deal. You won't find a better price than here, and shipping was quick — the experience overall I would recommend.

Just switched a free float quad to a troy alpha rail with this Magpul wrench. Flash hider came off without a hitch. Perfect fit. Used the tiny hammers to punch the gas block pins. They were so tight the wrench did not have enough oomph. So I used a big old 16 oz persuader, and that did the trick. As for switching out the barrel nuts, the spanner wrench side had a perfect lock up, and the wrench had just barely enough length to break them nut-free. If I needed more, it's nice to know a standard breaker bar could be added to the 1/2" socket. The Troy standard nut fit the sprocket side of the wrench perfectly also. With the torque wrench at 90 degrees, it definitely needed a two-handed tightening technique for me — one hand on each wrench. But never made the Magpul wrench slip or skip. No scratches and no busted knuckles. The total time was about 15 minutes, and most of that was spent on those dang gas block pins. All-in-all, this wrench was flawless. Now for a bottle cap... or two.

The magpul mag535 is one of the best armors wrenches I’ve had the privilege of using, a bit more pricey than others out there but worth every penny.

I bought this pul armorer's wrench for my first AR15 build. I couldn't be happier. Once you hold it in your hand, you can feel the quality. I can't wait to use it on future builds. MSP had the best price online and the shipping was fast.

I received my Magpul Armorer’s Wrench quickly after I ordered it. I have not owned other basic armorer’s wrenches before, but compared to my regular wrench set, this is clearly of a higher quality. The heft of the wrench in hand is substantial without being out of balance. I actually used the Magpul wrench as a hammer for the punches when building my AR-15 rather than go to the garage and get a real hammer. The butt of my punches is actually steel, but they didn’t leave a single mark on my Magpul wrench. Obviously working the castle but and everything else was a breeze. Unfortunately, I haven’t had a chance to use the can opener feature yet because I wanted to shoot my AR right away.

Magpul armorer's wrench When I first started building, I purchased a cheap multi-tool armorer's wrench. After purchasing a Magpul armorer's wrench, now it's the first tool I grab for. I have never had an issue using this tool. I have done about six builds with this AR tool, and it's still going strong. It is a heavy-duty solid construction.

The Magpul Armorers Wrench is a tough and well made, has a quality finish, plus has the cool factor. Honestly, it is the best AR armorer's wrench I've ever used. Every tool on it has worked great. Plus, it has a bottle opener. What more could you need?
