Any Walther model that comes with the standard sights that have the detent will work with this mount. This mount now comes with a set screw allowing it to be used with the friction fit dovetails.
The PPQ sight has a hole drilled in the bottom of the dovetail to accomodate the plunger on some models of the Walthers.

This optic plate mounted super easy on the rear sight. I love the P99 and This now makes me love it more. The plate sits very firm. It does interfere with the decocker but it's not impossible to use. I should have bought this year's ago. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
