The Burris Signature rings are designed to protect the finish of your scope and eliminate the need for lapping. The inserts that come with the rings can help correct misaligned mounting holes and provide additional elevation, which can be particularly useful in certain situations. The XTR rings are preferred over the Zee Rings, which can become difficult to remove or reinstall due to the potential for them to take a "set". With six screws per ring, the Burris Signature rings only need to be torqued to around 17-18 inch-pounds, which ensures that the scope internals won't be bound up. Overall, these rings offer several advantages and are a great choice for anyone looking for a high-quality, reliable mounting solution for their rifle scope.

Despite owning rings from multiple companies, I have never received them in a Plano sealed case before. The case features a strong latch and the rings are neatly packaged inside, with dense foam keeping them securely in place during transportation. I particularly like how the +10 and +20 MOA inserts are conveniently placed below in a compact package, thanks to the layered design. I am excited to mount these rings once my scope arrives and I am confident they will perform well.

As a longtime fan of the Burris XTR rings, I was excited to try out the XTR Signature line when I needed to mount a Vortex scope on my new Ruger Precision Rifle with a 20 MOA picatinny rail. However, I was disappointed to find that the package only included one set of concentric inserts, despite the description stating that two sets were included. This meant that in order to mount my scope, I had to use at least one set of the +/-5 MOA inserts in combination with the concentric inserts, forcing me to either drop down to 15 MOA or step up to 25 MOA, rather than staying at 20 MOA. Despite this issue and the lack of instructions, the rings themselves were of high quality and came in a waterproof container for easy storage. Overall, while the misleading description was frustrating, I still found the XTR Signature rings to be a good choice for mounting my scope.
