Vickers 221 Sling Padded with RED Swivel
While 2-point slings are ideal for most situations, there are times, like deploying from a vehicle or fighting in complex structures, when a 1-point sling has a clear advantage. Combining our new polymer Burnsed Socket and patented , the Vickers 221 Sling allows users to switch from 2-point to 1-point mode instantly by pulling on the RED Swivel knob and reinserting it in to the Burnsed Socket at the rear of the receiver. The instantaneous adjustability of the sling is still maintained in both 1 and 2 point modes.
Constructed similar to the world’s standard Vickers Combat Applications Sling™, a RED™ Swivel is sewn to the front of the sling towards the muzzle. A standard push button swivel and new molded Burnsed Socket are woven onto the rear allowing full adjustability of the sling for use with or without body armor.
The 221™ Sling fits any weapon with two QD sling swivel sockets with the rear socket towards the end of the receiver. For SCARS, Sigs, HKs, or other weapon systems with eyelets at the rear of the receiver, a Universal Wire Loop with Push Button Socket can be added instead of the included push button socket.

Blue Force Gear 221 Sling is Still One of the Best Tactical Slings Available

I was exposed to so many styles of slings over my entire Army career (2-point, 3-point, single point, etc.), and the Vickers 2-Point adjustable sling is still far and away from my favorite. The construction is solid and won't quickly wear out. In fact, I have one that has gotten plenty of use over the last 12 years, and it's still serviceable. The versatility of an adjustable 2-point sling is hard to beat: you can run it loose to transition from shoulder to shoulder and then variably tighten it for shooting with sling tension support. Best of all, you can quickly stow it on your body and secure it by tightening, allowing for working hands-free when you suddenly need to climb a wall or patch someone up. I don't see going back to another style of sling any time soon.

This product is very high-quality materials and is labeled "Made in the USA," which is quite lovely. It took me a bit to figure out how this is intended to be used - not as I first thought. Probably I am just a bit thick. But now that I understand its intended application, this is very fine. I installed the thick pad near the butt of the rifle, with the adjustable length section toward the muzzle. Allows an over cross-shoulder carry in near ready position with minimal problems. The synthetics are incredibly high quality and VERY sturdy, yet flexible. And the plastic buckles (which I ordered for hunting - quiet) also appear incredibly durable. I have owned 100 different slings. I will no longer look for alternatives. I need the next one; I am buying another one of these (and I have three now).

I like this sling a lot. I've used it in a couple of classes where it was required, and it comfortably helps up over several days. The ability to loosen or tighten quickly by tugging on it is functional when moving around for drills. I would recommend and buy again.

The Vickers 2 to 1 sling is by far the best AR sling I have used. It is well developed. Easy to customize and comfortable to wear for long periods. You can quickly go from hands-off to shooting in a split second with the slide switch with tether.

This Vickers 221 is my first AR sling, and it makes me very happy. It's relatively comfortable, and the apps are pretty cool. I love pre-installed quick detach swivels. The fast pull feature is fantastic, too, and very handy. I can't see a different type of buying me. Expensive but you get what you pay for.

The Vickers 221 sling is quite comfortable and well built. Works flawlessly from two-point to single point sling. The padded shoulder is a great bonus since it decreases carrying exhaustion. This sling is handy for a tactical situation or hunting.

Love this vickers 2 point sling. This is my 3rd one first in FDE, so it matches my cerokoted rifle. So easy to use. The grey pull tag is easy to see and find. Adjusts to my my body great. I have nothing bad to say about this sling. Premium materials and craftsmanship and made in the USA. I just ordered a one point Blue force gear sling ,my first. I’ll review that once I get it but if it’s anything like this one I’ll love it.
