I have two of these ar15 lights, one works fine, the other has issues with the tail cap not working. To be fair, the light thats having issues is mounted on a 7.62x39, and the one that works is on a .223 so the lights may not be built to handle anything more than .223. Mounting it isn't very easy with too many parts, but seams solid after mounting. Otherwise, the design is nice, but I'll likely be swapping out for a light of higher quality.

Works well have it on a pump shotgun mounted on the handguard will see if it makes it through test of time so far so good don't know how long-lasting the battery will be but all the same works for my purpose for home defense weapon

This AR light is made of tough material, great as a weapon light or duty flashlight. The tail cap push button does not have a momentary switch; each mode (high, low, strobe) is selected from a turn knob on the front bezel. This flashlight is a good purchase for the price, brightness, and versatility!
