Speaking as a professional Gunsmith, this mount is pretty good. Customers have yet to complain about losing zero or the mount failing in some way because it's not metal. I use them all the time. One beef: the set screw at the rear of the mount is a VERY snug fit as it goes through its tapped hole, and it's pretty challenging to determine just when it touches the receiver. Other than that, excellent product.

I wanted to put it on my Super Mag 870 and make it a good turkey gun and it obviously did the trick I would buy this product anytime well-made fits easy and reasonable price

We used on Remington 870 20 gauge with rifled barrel and scope. Simple to put on and use. I would recommend to anyone contemplating putting a scope on a shotgun, whether for Turkey or deer.

The best mount I've found so far for my 11-87 super mag turkey gun. It feels a little flimsy to the touch, but it's light and seems to do the job, took 2 toms with a red dot on this mount.

As a rule of thumb, I'm not too keen on plastic-type stuff, but this particular item works just fine, and it was a cinch to mount. However, if I were to put hard use on this item, I probably would go with a steel version; otherwise, no complaints whatsoever.
