Easy instal and seems to be rock solid. Only issue was the width of the slots, for quick detach mounts the slot needs to be widened by .05 of an inch. Other than that my thermals fit beautifully, and am quite pleased with the whole setup. Irons are still visible and "usable" with the rail, irons on the 597 are only good to 20 yards, then they are reference point rather than sights. Good mount would recommend

This review is neither good or bad. It's simply a Weaver scope base that is made of aluminum, painted black. It works as all Weaver scope bases have worked for years. The only real problem I have with them is this style rings are more prone to come loose on larger caliber rifles. For the price on rimfires, they are great.
