I saw some reviews that indicated some problems with the loops staying in the socket. I was prepared to either rework the socket or return it. I tested it in a clamp with weight and a quick pull and had no trouble. Installed on my stock and they work perfectly. I really like the smooth fore stock when shooting from a bench.

I have these sling mounts on many of my target rifles and have find them simple to install and usefull on the range. The flush mount if make a perfect for flat surface for resting bags at the range. My only wish is the were 1 1/4" loop.
