I'm thoroughly impressed with the high-quality metal components of these swivels. Once I applied a little threadlocker, I felt confident that they would be secure in my polymer stock after drilling it out. The swivels themselves lock in very positively, providing a reliable and secure fit. However, the plastic screw that prevents the swivels from opening had a sharp edge, which I found to be a minor issue. A quick filing of the edge took care of the problem, leaving me with a swivel that looks and feels great. Overall, I highly recommend these swivels for their excellent build quality and reliable performance.

I exclusively use these swivels, and I find them to be quite clever in the way they operate. I even purchased a set of nickel-plated swivels to see how they would look, and I'm pleased with the appearance. However, it's important to be mindful of the size of the loops and ensure that they are equal to the width of your sling. In my experience, most military-type slings are 1.25 inches wide, while many of the Uncle Mike's swivels that don't explicitly mention the size in the description are typically 1 inch wide. Therefore, it's important to double-check the width of your sling and select the appropriate size swivel to ensure a secure fit. Overall, I highly recommend these swivels for their quality and innovative design.

I use these swivels on almost all of my long arms, and they work great with a standard USGI 1.25" sling. Installing the swivel heads into my wooden stocks is easy and straightforward, although I can't speak to how well they would work in a synthetic stock since I prefer wood. One of the features I appreciate most about these swivels is how easy they are to attach and detach. To remove the sling, you simply unscrew the knurled knob above the loop, depress the knob, and rotate the "foot" away from the pin that holds the swivel to the screw. This feature is particularly useful if you want to loan a sling to a friend at the same event. Overall, I've been very pleased with the quality and functionality of these swivels.

I bought these swivels with the intention of installing them on my 10/22 wooden stock, but I haven't had the opportunity to do so yet. Installing them requires a drill and the appropriate bits to make the correct holes in the wood, which I don't have. Since purchasing the swivels, I've decided to switch to a synthetic Hogue stock for my 10/22, as the wood stock was too heavy for my liking. Although I haven't been able to see these swivels in action, I can tell that they are of the highest quality. The machining is precise with no rough edges, and the release system inspires confidence that it will securely hold any sling I choose to install. If these swivels are the right fit for your needs, I highly recommend purchasing them.

Although I drilled holes into my wood stock, I encountered some difficulty installing these swivels. I realized I should have used a slightly larger drill bit and gone a little deeper with the holes. Unfortunately, I can't remember the exact drill bit size I used, but I managed to find a bit that matched the size of the swivel and went down three sizes (due to the deep threads on the swivel mounts). Despite the initial installation hiccup, I've had no issues with these swivels coming loose or ripping out of my stock. They work perfectly with the sling I purchased, and I'm very happy with their performance overall.

For years, I've used these swivels on my hunting guns in the 1-inch size. However, I recently purchased this 1 1/4 inch set to use with a GI web sling at Project Appleseed. I find it convenient to unclip and keep my loop sling on my arm in position between prone stages. Additionally, I can easily reconfigure my sling between stages, which allows me to save time and quickly get into position, find my natural point of aim, and focus on my breathing to ensure my eyes have oxygen and my heart rate is as low as possible within the allotted time. These swivels proved especially useful when shooting Rifleman with a bolt action rifle since I had to work the bolt for every round. By saving time during the sling configuration process, I had more time to focus on aiming and cycling the bolt, improving my overall performance.

This swivel set fit the bill perfectly! It was easy to install on my 22 rifle, and the quick disconnect function works flawlessly, staying closed when needed and opening with ease when necessary. The instructions provided were clear and left no room for confusion. Overall, I'm very impressed with Uncle Mike's products. They are incredibly well-made and reliable, and this swivel set is no exception.

The swivel set worked perfectly on my Remington 597 rifle. Since my rifle has a synthetic stock, I used the short swivel on the butt and the long one on the forestock. I've been using Uncle Mike's components for years, and I've never encountered any issues. They are reliable and perform well, making them a trusted brand in my book.

I've purchased multiple sets of these swivels for my refurbished air rifles, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with them. However, I have one piece of advice to offer: when drilling the hole in the stock, take the time to measure multiple times, use the right sized drill, and make sure you get it right the first time. If the mounts are off-center even slightly, it will be noticeable from a distance of 200 feet, and it can be difficult to fix. Therefore, it's important to be precise during the installation process to ensure the best possible outcome.

I wanted to attach a sling to my shotgun's factory sling swivels, but the clips on the sling I purchased were too large to fit directly onto those swivels. Fortunately, these screw-in pins provided the perfect solution. They were easy to install into the OEM swivels and allowed me to attach the sling to the larger loops without any issues.

I installed these on an H&R single shot .410 compact/youth shotgun, which has an unusually thin forend stock. If you plan to install these swivels, make sure the area where you drill is thick enough to accommodate the 1/2 inch screw. I found that a 5/32 bit worked well for the job. However, during the installation process, I had a bit of difficulty with one swivel because the bit walked around initially, causing the hole to be slightly off-center. Despite being only off by about 1/16 inch, it was noticeable. Therefore, I recommend exercising caution and taking care when drilling to ensure proper alignment. While I didn't give these swivels a five-star rating due to their origin in China, they have otherwise performed well and securely held my shotgun.

I found the Uncle Mike's QB115 Sling Swivel and Mounting Stud Set to be an ideal fit for my Sheridan 2260MB .22 air rifle. The installation process was straightforward, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The set is beautifully blued, and it includes two white spacer washers. The rear mounting stud is the longer 3/4" screw, while the forward mounting stud is the shorter 1/2" screw. To install the rear mounting stud, I had to drill a counter-bored hole in the stock, starting with a 7/32" drill bit to a depth of 1/8", and finishing with a 5/32" drill bit to a depth of 7/8". The forward mounting stud required a similar counter-bored 7/32" hole to a depth of 1/8" and a 5/32" hole to a depth of 5/8". The set comes with swivels designed for 1" wide slings and features a quick disconnect style that allows the mounting studs to remain in place even if the sling is removed. I paired this set with an Allen Endura #85 sling, and it has met my needs perfectly. Overall, I am pleased with the quality and functionality of this Uncle Mike's QB115 Sling Swivel and Mounting Stud Set.
