Tapco SKS Scope Shield
Constructed of steel, the TAPCO SKS Scope Shield is built for years of shooting. Its universal design allows our deflector to interface with most receiver scope mounts on the market, including the Tri Rail Receiver Cover Mount. Once properly installed, it prevents damage to optics and loss of weapon's zero by deflecting spent cartridge casings. Marked TAPCO USA.
* Will not work with the original receiver cover.

I have a NC Star tri-rail and this will not mount to it. It has better looks than the NC Star scope shield but like I said unless you use the tapco receiver cover this may not work for your rig.

Be careful what mount you buy doesn't work with all mounts.

Unfortunatly this does not fit all receiver scope mounts. The only way to try it is to order and try. Shipping is good, Good quality. Cost is good. If your receiver mount will work with this it is a good purchase. I had to modify mine to make work.

It works just fine, probably alot better with a removable mag.... Doh ,to be A Canadian sometimes has its disadvantages.(We only get 5 rounds in our riflrs up here)
