More on the Surefire XSC
The SureFire XSC is a compact pistol light designed for everyday carry use. It's a well-made, durable, and versatile accessory that can help you navigate low-light situations with ease. In this review, we'll take a closer look at the features and performance of the XSC and see how it stacks up against other pistol lights in its class.
One of the standout features of the XSC is its size. At just 2.5 inches long and 1.5 ounces in weight, it's one of the smallest and lightest pistol lights on the market. Despite its small size, it's also surprisingly powerful, with a maximum output of 350 lumens. This makes it an ideal choice for concealed carry, where every ounce and inch counts.
The XSC is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which can provide up to 1.5 hours of runtime on high mode and up to 27 hours on its lowest setting. This means you won't have to worry about constantly replacing batteries, and you can easily recharge the XSC using the included USB cable. The XSC also features a fuel gauge that lets you know when it's time to recharge.
One of the unique features of the XSC is its ambidextrous switch. The switch can be operated with either hand, and it's designed to be easy to use even when wearing gloves. The switch has three modes: high, low, and strobe. The strobe mode can be particularly useful for disorienting an attacker or signaling for help in an emergency.
The XSC is also built to withstand harsh environments and heavy use. It's made from aerospace aluminum and has a hard-anodized finish that resists scratches and corrosion. It's also IPX7 rated, which means it's waterproof and can be submerged in water up to one meter deep for 30 minutes without any damage.
In terms of performance, the XSC delivers bright and consistent light that illuminates a wide area. It's easy to install and remove, and it fits securely on most popular compact and subcompact handguns. The XSC's compact size and ambidextrous switch make it an ideal choice for everyday carry, and its durability and versatility make it a reliable tool for law enforcement and military personnel.
Overall, the SureFire XSC is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a compact and reliable pistol light. It's well-made, durable, and versatile, with a powerful output and long battery life. Whether you're a civilian, law enforcement officer, or military personnel, the XSC is a valuable accessory that can help you stay safe and effective in low-light situations.

Perfect light for Hellcat
The light is an excellent fit for the Hellcat, and the rechargeable battery is a convenient addition. While it may not be as bright as an x300, this is not surprising considering its size. Initially, I was uncertain about the cost of this light, especially for a smaller gun. However, after using it, I can say that the price is justified.
Great quality and utility
I purchased this item a month ago and have fired over 1,000 rounds through my P365 without encountering any issues. Remarkably, it has not become loose, and I did not even use blue locktite or any adhesive. Unlike my TLR-1s on Glocks, the lens does not get covered in powder residue, which may be due to its positioning. Here are some helpful tips: Optics Planet sells a DeSantis belt holster that fits the P365 with this light, and the DeSantis pocket holster for the Glock 42 with Streamlight TLR-6 fits the P365 with XSC perfectly. Additionally, the battery life lasts approximately half an hour, which is sufficient for any street encounter or investigating a disturbance. However, if you plan to engage in low-light training with the light, which I encourage, consider purchasing a spare battery and charger. Although they are not expensive, you will appreciate the ability to continue training.
SureFire XSC Micro-Compact 350 Lumens Pistol Light review
I bought a weapon light for my new P365X handgun, which I use for everyday carry (EDC). The installation process was quick and effortless, and within 30 seconds, I had the light attached securely. Having used Surefire products during my military service, I have always been satisfied with their performance. Although they are expensive, I prefer to invest in high-quality products that won't disappoint me. The light output is 350 lumens, which is more than sufficient for its intended purpose. Once I mounted the light on my gun, I had complete confidence in my purchase.
