Surefire 6px flashlight is Very well made

This is a very well made high quality product. It is very simple to use, and the dual intensity output is useful when you don't need the full 600 lumens. Though this light can light up the night at full power, better than comparable Streamlights, I own. The aluminum body is solid and should stand up to a lot of abuse. If you want instant full brightness, you may want to consider the Surefire 6PX Tactical. However this versatile light does give you a couple of options depending upon your needs.

Surefire has an excellent reputation for a reason. Outstanding construction, very reliable, and adequate light strength for an EDC light. I like the two power modes. More often than not, I need just a little light to find something or make my way through a dark area. The low setting on the first button push is ideal. Hitting it a second time is adequate to surprise someone that is not expecting to be lit up. I carry one and have the other mounted on a rifle. Very happy with the performance of both.

Great light. Very bright on high setting with a low light beam for most uses. Great battery life. They are used for self-defense purposes and everyday needs. Works as advertised.

Surefire started my booming trend in high-tech flashlights. Surefire innovates with a focus on quality. Though I own a few, none have failed. All are guaranteed, forever. For about the same price, Streamlight looks identical. I have had two Streamlights fail. Both were quickly fixed. There are cheaper flights, which will fail when you need them most.

The SureFire 6PX Pro light is brighter then

The light is brighter than one of those clumsy 1 million candle power rechargeable lights. Its most significant advantage over them is it is so perfectly focused that it can shine further with only a 1.25 " bezel. I have a cattle ranch, and I use it for checking cows at night during calving time, and it is nice to have so much light in such a small package with no 12V plug wires to get tangled in. I use it while driving around on my ATV at night, and it can illuminate a cow 100 yards away with no problem. The low beam is excellent for little things to close up, and even on low, it is ten times brighter than the little two-cell AA Maglite that I used to carry. It is such a white-colored beam that it seems to penetrate through fog or haze better without much glare. It is a great investment if you like no-frills but good solid products. The tube diameter is precisely 1 inch for anybody who wants to mount it on a gun, which is the next thing I will do with it.

    My Surefire 6px pro review

My third Surefire product. I am pretty much completely sold on this brand now. This is my first hand-held (i.e., not weapon-mounted). Solid! Operation of this light is perfect: holding with hand up in defensive position (palm down, elbow/forearm up), one gently toggles it on to low (with partial thumb depression on switch (which is on the axial end)) and then lightly lets up and gently depresses a second time for high. Perfect. I walk the dogs early in the morning (3 am to 4 am-ish) and needed more illumination. Sure, I could have opted to carry a firearm out and use the light on it... but I don't want to walk around with a gun unholstered just for great light. This light is just what I wanted and needed. Unreserved five stars. Are these guys publicly traded? If so, I'm buying some stock. This is the kind of company for whom I would be proud to work.

The surefire 6px pro is well built and very bright. Its small size makes it easy to carry. I bought it when it was on sale. They can be pricey, but they are a quality product.

I use the Surefire 6px pro for hunting and also during travel. The choices of light level allow balancing between battery life and genuinely fantastic light output. The compact size is great for pocket carry. The light level is good enough for close-range defensive temporary blinding of an attacker. TSA has never given me grief over the light because it doesn't have the accentuated crenelations on the bezel. I would buy it again.

My son has this light, and when I told him I wanted a "Good" flashlight, I suggested I get this one. I'm here to tell you, and I love this light. It a very well built. I've dropped it on the floor from a height of over 5 feet twice and cringed each time. The first time I just knew the bulb probably broke. I picked it up, pressed the button, and there was no damage. When I take my dog out at night, I usually leave it on low. But on occasion put it on high, and the 320 lumens light up the whole back yard. I'm thrilled I purchased this light.
