I needed more eye relief for my target scope on my Savage Mark II and after research, I bought the EGW 41600 rail. It was a perfect match with the 1-5/8" ejection port and allowed me to mount the scope further forward to achieve the required eye relief. The installation was a breeze and it fit perfectly using the stock Savage Mark II ring mounting points.

The Savage 93 22 WMR rail purchased fits perfectly to the "E" receiver without needing bedding. Four torx screws are included and I used Loctite 222 purple, although EGW recommends blue torqued to 20 in lbs. The machined port length of the rail matches the receiver port at 1 5/8". The mounted rail is approximately 10mm high and an O.D. 51mm bell has 10mm clearance with .485 height rings and flip-up covers. This product is well-made and fits the rifle nicely, and is also available in 20 MOA. I highly recommend it.

This mount fits my Savage 93 perfectly with its 1-5/8" ejection port. It was a bit confusing at first as some reviews mentioned misalignment, which I later realized was likely due to ordering the wrong mount for their Savage Mark II. It's important to accurately identify your firearm before ordering as there is a separate mount for the Mark II and the model 93. The description could be more clear. Nevertheless, I am happy with the fit and quality of the mount.

I purchased this rail for my Savage Mark II rifle. It fits perfectly and is ideal for mounting a scope. There are two different sized Savage Mark II models, one with a 1⅜ inch ejection port and the other with a 1⅝ inch port. This rail is designed to fit the 1⅝ inch model. It's important to measure before buying. For the 1⅝ inch model, this rail is a great fit and I am very pleased with both its appearance and quality.

This purchase was an impulse buy for my Savage Mark ii BTVS 22lr build, but I am happy I went for it. The savage mark ii scope base price is average for a picatinny rail, especially for a rimfire product, but the quality is top-notch. Made in America with great fit and finish, everything was included, including torque specs and screws. I paired it with Warne low rings and a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 4-12X40 and the setup is solid, with proper clearance all around. The 1-5/8 inch ejection port fit my Savage perfectly, and the black anodize or powder coat tone down the stainless steel look. I am impressed with this company's range of rails and will consider them in future purchases.

The savage 93r17 scope mount is of good quality and fits the rifle as intended, but the casing ejection notch is positioned in a way that makes it difficult to use with some scopes. I had to flip the rail so that it extends more towards the rear of the rifle to make it work with my ATN scope. This resulted in the ejection notch not aligning with the ejection port on the rifle, but it still functions properly. I searched for a longer rail, but didn't find any options right away. Since it was working fine, I decided to keep it. I'm giving the rail 4 stars due to the correctly aligned screw holes and the absence of burrs or rough machining. The only improvement would have been to make it a half inch longer.

I was initially apprehensive about ordering this item online from a third-party vendor instead of directly from EGW, but my concerns were unfounded. The product arrived in its original packaging and was brand new, eliminating the need for returns. Regarding the product itself, it mounted seamlessly onto my Savage MK II. The construction is robust and of high quality, giving me confidence that it will not fail or deteriorate in the future. Although it is on the pricier side, I have yet to find another picatinny/weaver rail that fits the pre-drilled screw holes on the Savage MK II bolt-action rifle. In conclusion, I would recommend this savage mark ii scope mount to any MK II owner looking to use a scope, especially since there are no other options that cover the 1 5/8" ejection port on the newer MK II models with proper alignment for drilling.

I have a Savage Mark II E receiver and this EGW base (model 41600) fits it perfectly. For those unfamiliar, there are two different Mark II receivers - the older, smaller one often referred to as "Pre-E," and the newer receivers which are the same size as the Mark II and 93R. The center-to-center spacing between the screw holes is .505" for each pair and 3.345" between the innermost two closest to the ejection port. This base will fit any Mark II/93R with that same spacing. Note that the product photo on the listing is misleading and makes the finish appear rough and chalky

It was exactly what I needed for my Savage 93. I am standardizing on Picatinny style scope mounts as I move scopes from one rifle to another. Excellent fit and finish.

Wanted a one piece mount for my Savage 93 17HMR. Could have bought something quite bit cheaper. However, I also try to buy USA. This mount works. Its solid. Its USA. I have no complaints.
