Mesa Tactical Urbino Remington 870 Stock with Limbsaver Buttpad and Cheek Riser (12-GA, Black)

The reduced LoP makes the Urbino stock the first truly tactical stock for the Remington. A shorter stock is necessary for use in tactical applications, especially with body armor. The Urbino Tactical stock is durable, easy to shoulder and will not slip.
The Urbino Tactical stock is also comfortable, thus reducing operator fatigue, especially during prolonged training and qualification sessions. The urethane rubber grip is padded at the rear to reduce recoil impact against the web of the operator’s hand, the optional Limbsaver® buttpad substantially reduces felt recoil, the optional field-adjustable cheek riser was developed to provide superior cheek weld when using optics. Specially developed SureShell® shotshell carriers can be fitted to the cheek riser.
All Urbino Tactical stocks include Benelli-style rear sling loops for 1¼ inch sling webbing. In addition, a hole at the lower rear of the stock accepts QD style sling swivels (included). Urbino Tactical stocks can also be fitted with any of a variety of optional steel pocket sling mounts.
All hardware included, no gunsmithing necessary to install.

Remington 870/1100/11-87
The Remington platforms feature a recessed rear receiver to accept the stock, which is secured near the buttstock. The rear of the receiver is angled 15° from the vertical.
With the Remington 1100 and 11-87 autoloaders, the stock surrounds the recoil spring tube and is secured by a nut that is tightened around the end of the tube with thread specifications of (19/32″ -32 thread). The buttpad then covers access to the nut.
The same stock can be installed on the Remington 870 by use of a long (11 inches or so) bolt with a washer that locks against the stock at the rear and screws into the threaded receiver stud (¼”-28 thread).

This mesa urbino fits the 870, 1100, or the 11-87. I put this on my 11-87, I can't wait to get it out and try it. Has always been a reach when hunting with the factory stock and a heavy coat. No more and pull it up and it points correctly.

I replaced a Knoxx Stock withe the mesa tactical urbino 870 on my duty 870P. For me, it had the perfect length of pull with body armor, and the cheek riser on the third from bottom setting gives me ideal sight picture with zero guessing for rifle sights. I would not run any other stock regardless of price. I also love how the single loop sling attachment adds no length to the shotgun.

I just put this mesa tactical urbino 870 on my Home defense/ Duty Shotgun, and I have to say I'm blown away. This stock is very well built and has got to be the most comfortable stock I've ever had on an 870. The only thing that I don't like is that it doesn't come with a hook sling adapter.

The stock fit my 1187 great, shoulders nice. It was missing the sling mount that fits on the remington semi autos, but my step drill bit fixed that.

I have had this Mesa Tactical Urbino 870 over three years now and have run many rounds of custom heavy load buckshot through my 870 with this on. I have used this stock for many training scenarios and would do it al over again.

The stock fits very nice, the only problem is the 1 1/4 sling mount. It is made to be used with the mounting bolt, my 1187 used a mounting nut. So I will have to make the hole bigger to work. Other then that it makes my gun look like it always should have. MSP shipped super fast

I bought this for my Remington 870 Express. It was a perfect fit and did not require any modifications. The rubberized pistol grip is great also. The slightly shorter length gives it more of a tactical feel, and the but piece is much softer than the original.

This Mesa Tactical Urbino 870 stock was very well made, came with all needed hardware along with hardware for the different sling types. Fit to the Remington 870 like a glove, very solid and a butt pad is very good for the 3 1/2' mag recoil.

Mesa Urbino Remington 870 Stock was a Super easy install!! Solid addition. Recoil reduced dramatically even with heavy loads. Weapon handling and carry for my Remington 870 Tactical has jumped up quite a few notches. Be advised that you will lose about 2" LoP from the original Rem Butt Stock. The Rem OEM LoP states 14," and the Mesa LoP states 12 1/2, but I am steering towards challenging that. Regardless, the loss of LoP and the addition of the Cheek Riser kept my LOS through the ghost ring sights good to go. I may modify the pistol grip in the area around the safety. The area around the safety button is a bit tight, and accessing the Remington OEM Safety Button may prove to be troublesome with a gloves hand and in a bad situation. I have a Wilson Combat Jumbo Head Safety (MPN: SGJHS) on the way, so I am going to wait until that install. The kit comes with everything you need except hand tools and Loctite 243 (#2 Phillips and Slotted screwdrivers).
