The Remington 783 Short Action Picatinny Rail is a high-quality rifle scope mount specifically designed for use with the Remington 783 short action rifle. This mount is made from durable aluminum and features a Picatinny rail design, which allows for easy installation and secure attachment of your scope. Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. Our one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.
We machine these in our shop using one of our machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type II anodized for long lasting durability.
Installation: We recommend 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is available through our website and is sold separately).
The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA.

This rail has an excellent fit and finish. It was a perfect fit on my rifle receiver and it is far superior to the two-piece mount that came with it. The rail is also taller, which was exactly what I needed. I was able to use medium rings with scopes that have large objective lenses of 50mm. I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

The quality and fit of this picatinny rail for remington 783 is outstanding. I decided to replace the factory two-piece weaver rail with this one, as my offset scope rings were only compatible with Picatinny rails. The installation process was simple and took only about 10 minutes, I used a small amount of blue loctite to keep it in place. The package also included new screws and a T10 1/4 drive bit, which were very helpful. I am extremely satisfied with the new look and feel of the rail and highly recommend it to others.

This Remington 783 one piece base is of exceptional quality and the fitment was perfect. I was uncertain about this remington 783 rail as I wasn't sure if it would be a perfect fit, but I am pleased to report that it exceeded my expectations. The rail was easy to install on my Remington 783 short action rifle chambered in .308, and the holes lined up perfectly. The included instructions had clear torque specifications, and the package included the necessary screws and a t-star bit. I am very satisfied with this product and would definitely purchase from this company again.
