When it comes to AR platform builds, the Real Avid Armorer's Master Wrench is the go-to tool. In my experience, the quality of this wrench is among the best, if not the best, on the market. Of course, this is my personal opinion, and others may differ.

The quality of this AR wrench is exceptional, and it's impressive how many features are packed into such a compact tool. The hammer tips are particularly sturdy and store neatly within the wrench. Although it is more expensive than other options, the durability and performance make it well worth the investment over cheaper alternatives.

I am AR Wrench with this product. I purchased it because the flats on Surefire's 3P prong SOCOM flash hider are not designed for use, but this tool appeared slim enough in the pictures, so I decided to give it a try. When used on the right side, it fits nicely on the SF3P SOCOM flats. Additionally, it comes with rubber, polymer, and brass hammer tips, which is a nice bonus. Although it is expensive, sometimes a tool is necessary, and I have previously relied on the Wheeler tool, which was ideal until it no longer worked.

I recently acquired the Real Avid Armorers Wrench and found its design to be top-notch. The wrench is incredibly user-friendly and makes working on my AR rifles a breeze. The grip size and the location of the various tools on the wrench make it simple to apply the appropriate torque to the necessary parts. I would highly recommend this wrench to anyone who enjoys (or needs) working on their own AR firearms. It is truly a high-quality tool that exceeds expectations.

Previously, I relied on Magpul's wrench, but since discovering Real Avid's amazing tool, it's become my go-to choice. Magpul's wrench has a closed loop for the castle nut, which necessitated the removal of the stock or brace before the nut could be removed. This problem is solved with the Real Avid wrench. The tool is incredibly sturdy and well-built, with a surprisingly heavy weight that adds to its quality feel. The handle is ergonomic and fits comfortably in the hand, while the tool itself is thick, particularly at the castle tool portion. The castle nut prongs are large and durable, so there are no concerns about breakage. I was able to effortlessly remove a staked castle nut using the Real Avid vise block and this wrench. The wrench is designed to provide maximum leverage, requiring less force when using it. Additionally, the handle features three hammerheads that can be removed and placed on the back of the wrench to use as a hammer. My wrench seems to be a newer model, as the hammerheads are round, unlike the rectangular ones in the picture on OP's site and the first-generation wrench. Finally, the wrench looks cool and is an impressive addition to any collection.

This tool has now replaced a boat load of AR tools that didn't work out so well. The Real Avid AR Wrench is very well built, grips nuts/parts w/out slippage, is ergonomically designed, etc. The torque wrench attachments and detachable hammer heads are a big plus. Too many great features to list.

been an armorer for a number of years and have gone through many M-4 multi tools as much from curiosity as from need..This one works really well. Very well constructed and quality is first rate.

I've used this on four builds and a rebuild now. First build I wasn't exactly sold on it (having never used an Armorer's Master Wrench before), though I found it really convenient. Second build, I loved it. By this point, I don't know what I'd do without it. If you are planning on building AR's, just get it, you won't be disappointed. If you are only planning on building one … I'd still recommend it over several individual task specific tools.

I used this to put on my castle nut as well as remove my barrel nut and swapped out my muzzle break. It comes in handy when building an AR or during maintenance. It seems solid in construction and shouldn't fall apart like some other tools of this nature. I recommend.

There isn't a universal armorer's wrench that will fit the fixtures of each manufacturer, but this one is the closest I have seen—heavy duty, multi-purpose, a worthwhile buy.

I was about to buy a cheap armorers wrench to remove my barrel nut but read several horror stories about the tools either stripping the bolts or stripping themselves. Went ahead and just purchased this one based off the stellar reviews and I couldn't be happier. The tool is comfortable in the hand and has a good weight to it so you feel it's durable. I was able to remove the barrel nut without issue and also used it to remove and reinstall my muzzle break as well. I'm starting 2 more pistol builds so I'm sure I'll get plenty of use from this tool. I highly recommend.
