MSP QD Sling Mount for Buttstock with Rotation Limited
The MSP QD Sling Mount for Buttstock with Rotation Limited offers an easy, lightweight, and cost-effective solution for mounting a quick-detach sling swivel to the MOE buttstock, as well as other buttstocks with 1 1/4" slots for webbing, like the typical M4 carbine stock. The rotation-limited feature prevents spin and allows for proper positioning of the sling between carrying and firing positions. Its low-profile design keeps the weight to a minimal 0.490 oz.
The QD Rotation Limited Sling Mount attaches directly to the webbing slot on a wide range of buttstocks and is compatible with all Push Button QD Sling Swivels.
The Magpul MOE Stock, a standard feature on many AR15/M16 carbines, can be easily upgraded with this mount for those with M4-style buttstocks lacking a QD Sling Mount. Many factory CAR collapsible M4-style stocks and the Benelli M4 Tactical Shotgun with optional collapsible stock also lack a QD Sling Swivel.

I have yet to really put it through it's paces as the sling I got is a bit longer than I wanted but tested it out a few times and it seems pretty good and sturdy. QD attach is solid, doesn't seem like it would fail and the screws felt nice and tight but hasn't been fired while on yet so I can't speak on that. But overall I think it'll work just fine.

It took a while, but I finally received the MSP QD Sling mount for Buttstock. It was just what I needed for easy attachment/removal of my sling as my buttstock only has the slots to thread the sling through. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 stars because of the limited rotation. But it's a minor tradeoff for the ease of use.

MSP saw a void in the market for a popular accessory and stepped up to fill that need. The MSP QD rotation limited sling mount for MOE buttstock looks great,fits well and functions as it should. I was very impressed with them contacting me to let me know that they had started producing the sling mount as I had been waiting on a similar product for quite a while. From ordering to receiving the sling mount was about a week.Not too shabby for being halfway across the country.

I’ve used this style mount on several 22lr AR carbines that have M4 style butt stocks with the sling web slot in the stock. Provides a handy way to make the sling easily removable. The 22lr AR carbines have become my go to firearm for teaching marksmanship and firearm safety to my grandchildren and the children of family friends. I participate with them in Appleseed Project and other youth marksmanship programs. This particular mount has become difficult to find in the market. So much so I had actually approached various manufacturers about producing their own mount. Really happy to see the MSR has brought the mount into their product line as I have several more carbines to prepare.
