This mount is the best product I have bought for my Galil. It has a bomber fit, an excellent viewing channel for the use of existing iron sights, and makes an already beautiful rifle even sweeter to look at. It's a spendy piece of metal, but now that I can acknowledge its quality, I would recommend this item to any Galil owner. Keep in mind, like any optic mount for a Galil, operating the vertical charging handle will be more awkward, but do-able. Also, you will have to make adjustments to the provided set screws to bring the two fields of view into alignment - you'll understand after installation. Mine was installed with a bit of lubricant, a small block of hardwood, and a ball-peen hammer.

Delayed review as I had to put some rounds and check if works fine. Product is good, solid and holds in place regardless of environment (dropped rifle once) full recommendation but: - requires some effort to put it directly over the bore - if you want to use magnified optic other than red dot be sure to place it on rail more towards stock and scope has sufficient eye relief. f.e you will hard time using ACOG br

I bought this mount for my Galil because in Italy are very very rare. The mount works great on original IMI receiver without any adjustment. Great customer service.
