Works perfectly. I use it with a chest rig; sternum carry is just the right length without excess cordage to snag something.

The perfect way to secure a pistol when going through thick woods. Had lost one some years ago. I had gotten a $20 holster for a $600 revolver. I never claimed to be the brightest bulb in the pack. After all the paperwork (I live in NY state), I never vowed again not to retain a gun. This works great. Ensures you can't drop it without knowing and does not interfere with using it.

At first, I wasn't too sure about this, but since I have attached it to my weapon and carried it 24/7, I recommend it. The length of the cord is more than ample to maintain the weapon if you ever need to pull it. The dual clasp system works fine. I would recommend it to my Battles.

High quality low volume (small, thin, not bulky) pistol retention lanyard. I'm using it for a Ruger 454 Casull Toklat connected to a Kydex chest holster. I have only had it for a few weeks and have not put it to a field test, but would have no problem deploying with it.

Not to many folks these days use a lanyard but I learned in the military how useful they are in having a weapon when needed. This lanyard stays out of your way and has plenty of length to let you have a full range of motion and small enough to conceal under clothing. Only gripe is that it should also have a quick release on the pistol end also. Having said that it works great.
