Nightforce Benchrest 8-32x56 Rifle Scope

These favorites of .50 BMG shooters are known for their ruggedness and durability. They offer exceptional light transmission and clear, sharp images, enabling shooters to see even the smallest details at any magnification setting, even at long distances.

Customer Ratings & Reviews
Nightforce 8-32 x 56 Benchrest scope
This rifle scope is, without a doubt, the finest I have ever owned in my 50 years of shooting. The optics are incredibly sharp, with vivid color reproduction. The elevation and windage adjustments perform exactly as they should, allowing me to shoot with pinpoint accuracy. The adjustment knob covers and caps are a welcome addition, as are the metal lens caps that screw into either end of the tube. The reticle is delicate enough for precise shooting, and is illuminated for low-light situations. This is an outstanding scope and I highly recommend it.
Nightforce 8-32x56 Precision Benchrest rifle scope
I am now the proud owner of my third NightForce scope. I already have two 12-42x56 Precision Benchrest scopes, one on a customized Remington 722 action in 30 BR and the other on a Lawton 7500 action in 6mm Dasher. My latest addition, the NightForce 8-32x56, is mounted on my Kimber 84M 22/250 rifle that I plan to use for varmint hunting. I am thoroughly impressed with the optics of these scopes and, as a 74-year-old with less-than-perfect eyesight, I particularly appreciate the illuminated reticle that provides excellent visibility in low-light conditions. I wholeheartedly recommend these scopes to anyone in need of high-quality optics.
Nightforce Benchrest Scope - A+++
When it comes to Benchrest and Varmint work, the Nightforce can't be beat. It boasts precision internal mechanics and exceptional optics. The selection of reticles is unparalleled. Although it may not be budget-friendly, it is the best option for serious competition. The advantages of this product include ultimate clarity, a precisely designed reticle, and precise adjustments. The only downside is that you have to pay for the best.
A Superior Optic For Benchrest!!
I bought this for Nightforce 8-32x56 Benchrest to use on my Kidd Supergrade (a high-grade 10/22). It's very heavy, long & very well built. Optically, it's just simply stunning; the fast-focus eyepiece is appreciated as are the very accurate parallax settings. The .125 clicks @100yds give me precise adjustment while shooting ABRA 25-BULL targets at 50 yards and the NP-R2 reticle allows excellent resolution of the tiny approximately 1/16" 10X scoring circle @50yds. A precision instrument, built like a tank!!
Great targeting scope
I find that my old eyes and shaky hands like to see the small target precisely - this 32 power scope fills the bill. Where you aim is where the bullet will hit. Breath carefully to remain on target, have a quick trigger, and the results will be very satisfying. I made a big difference in my accuracy and the please of reloading. Recommend these higher power scopes for every bench shooter or long-distance shooter and Nightforce can't be beat. Lots of $1000 scopes out there but went with the name we can trust for perfection.
Nightforce BR Scopes
For BR/Varmint Hunting great product Clear, Bright, and Easy to Focus Great for shooting from a supported rest To much bulk to shoot offhand
Can't ask for better
Nightforce simply makes the best scopes on the market. I own three, including this model. The clarity is second to none. They are sturdy, and you won't be disappointed. The price can seem daunting for those on a budget, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for. I have this scope on a .308 and a 6.5mm Creedmoor. Shooting 1000 yards is much easier when you can see the target. I won't put anything but a Nightforce on my target rifles ever again. They are as good as advertised.
Wonderful Scope
I use the Nightforce Benchrest 8-32x56 scope in 1000 yard competition, and they make me look good. I have won several times and am grateful for the optics and accurate clicks in the turrets. I am sad they no longer have the fine crosshairs, I believe was called CH1.
TERRIFIC OPTICS & CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
I have owned four Nightforce Benchrest scopes in my life. Recently, my rifle began shooting larger than standard groups. The scope was a Nightforce Benchrest 5.5-22 x 56, which was manufactured in 1995. I knew that that the problem had to be scope because the rifle consistently shot 1/4" groups. Called Nightforce, spoke with Sonny, and within a couple of days sent the scope in for repair. The scope arrived at Nightforce in Idaho on a Friday. The following Monday, Nightforce (Sonny) called me back and stated the scope was an old model that they no longer manufactured. It couldn't be repaired, AND SO NIGHTFORCE SENT ME A BRAND NEW 8-32 x 56 BENCHREST FREE OF CHARGE. Folks, you can't beat that, and it's proof that you get what you pay for! Nightforce is second to none in my opinion. Thanks Nightforce for a great product and great customer service.
I have this exact scope mounted
I have this exact scope mounted on my Bushmaster Varmiter 223. I use it specifically for P-dogs. The range finder is set at 15 power, and when the dogs stand up, if they are full size, an accurate distance can be obtained. The distance circles are about 9 inches at their given range. The glass is brilliant and I have never had a reticle not return to zero or float. This ret is an excellent idea. I love mine.
Wish I could afford Nightforce scopes for all my centerfire rifles.
Wish I could afford Nightforce scopes for all my centerfire rifles. Much lighter than the NXS, with 1/8 MOA turrets. Clear picture with great contrast. Performs a 2" box test (@100 yds) returning to zero perfectly. Mine came with a small nick in the finish. It was replaced instantly by the factory in Idaho. Excellent customer service!
I owned a Nightforce Benchrest 8 32x56 for years,
I owned a Nightforce Benchrest 8 32x56 for years, and it's fantastic, I got mine used a little cheaper, but not much, their resale value is through the roof, click value is dead on and very clear, at 600yds I was shooting around 4" groups with a savage 112bvss in .243, every click done precisely as it was moved even out to 600 yds there was not also a slight deviation from actual click-shot placement. If you have the money, buy Nightforce, if you don't, buy what glass you can for the money, it's as important as the gun you're mounting it on, and the only relationship you have from your gun to your target.
