- VISM AK KeyMod handguards are designed to fit most AKM stamped receivers with the standard AK barrel profile.
- This is the Extended Length AK Handguard, replaces the standard factory lower and upper wooden/plastic handguards. This Extended handguard extends forward of the Gas Block, giving you more handguard space to hold your AK and for giving you more space to mount your accessories.
- Easy Drop-In installation. No gunsmithing required for most installations. Includes mounting bolts and tool.
- KeyMod slots at 8 angled surfaces for mounting your accessories.
- Top handguard is pre-drilled and compatible with NcSTAR's micro Dot Reflex optics. Offering the lowest Micro Dot mounting position to co-witness with the AK Iron Sights.
- Includes 2.3" Short (3 KM) KeyMod to Picatinny (5 Slot) Accessory Rail.
- Nice slim profile that is comfortable to hold.

Love it. Very well made and very universal. I have a weird AK. It’s a stamped Romanian but not really as it was a pre ban that was collected but not sent kinda thing so it’s a little odd and end parts. This handguard makes it all look uniform and the only one I have ever been able to get to fit and I’ve tried two different brands. Very pleased.

past bought the a few months back for my Chinese Norinco mak90 and if you know anything about these rifles, you know the barrels are thicker, so is the receiver so to install the extended version i had to Dremel the barrel channel and where the rear sight block sits in this system mind you I didn't have to remove a whole lot of material and there's absolutely no movement overall seems well built as opposed to some of the other products from this company in the past

The NcStar AK handguard is a satisfactory handguard overall, lightweight, well made and pretty tough for a lightweight aluminum guard. The price was very sensible for what you get, and it installs easily. I did run into a problem where the top rail mount would not fit my Saiga AK because the gas tube was too big so I had to modify one section of the guard rail by milling then inside screw mount and also the side screw holes. Took me about an hour to finish. But I was able to get the whole assembly mounted, and you can't tell that the piece was changed in any way.

It looks good, and has a nice quality about it. But it did take a little modification fit properly. But I didn't mind that too much. Overall very good product
