This AR stock stands out with its increased length and width, making it perfect for scoped rifles. Its unique design aids in smoother transitions and feels natural in the ready position. A standout feature? The battery compartments! There are side compartments that double as cheek welds, holding either four CR123 or three AA batteries each. Plus, there's an extra compartment for two AA batteries. Made of durable, non-reflective polymer, it adjusts smoothly on the buffer tube and locks in securely. It also boasts a rubber butt pad, strike plate, and quick disconnect swivel sockets.

This isn't your standard AR stock; it's packed with features. Starting from the back, it has a thick rubber pad with a tire tread pattern for grip. The angled design aids in transitioning from a low ready stance. It's got a metal end plate, which is great for close-quarters situations. There's a compartment for storing essentials like batteries, and it's sealed tight. The stock adjustment is sturdy, though a bit tricky to use. It also has a sling loop and spaces for more batteries. One thing to note: it's designed for mil-spec tubes. There's even a viewing port to see buffer tube numbers. The cheek relief is great, but if you have a beard, watch out for snags.

The fit and finish of this ar stock is excellent, with a unique buttplate angle that allows for quick shouldering of your weapon from a tactical sling. The ar15 stock is an excellent option for those looking for a moderately priced option. Just be sure to measure the diameter of your mil-spec or commercial tube before purchasing, as the mil-spec buttstock will not fit on a commercial-type tube. I personally got the mil-spec version and it fits perfectly. The stock is angled for easy shouldering and has minimal movement on the mil-spec tube, though it is still a minor issue. It has a positive locking mechanism when extending the stock, and it stays in place. There are also plenty of waterproof storage compartments for batteries or other small items. The ambidextrous sling mount located at the rear of the stock can be used by right or left-handed shooters when installing a sling. The stock is sturdy and well-built, with a rubber pad that keeps it securely on your shoulder. It also has a built-in striker plate, which may be helpful for law enforcement or military use, but may not be necessary for civilian or competition use. Overall, this is an excellent ar15 stock well-suited for competition or LE/military use. It is well-built, sturdy, looks great, and has received a 5-star rating. These are the best collapsible AR stocks that I have had the opportunity to use. I own two EMOD stocks and I love them. I also own stocks by other major brands and none of them fit as snugly on the buffer tube as these do -they all wobble, even when locked. These stocks also have a nice cheek weld for shooting with optics. The construction is solid. I don't have anything negative to say about them.

I put this AR stock on a LR308 build and am very pleased. It looks great and works even better. The attention to detail in design and manufacturing is obvious. I liked it enough to order another one for my next build and may replace some of my other stocks with this one too.

Really well made AR15 stock. Out of all the dozens I have tried the VLTOR Emod is my favorite. The cheek weld is perfect for me. I love the rubber recoil pad. I'm using it on a 16" Noveske carbine. Fit and finish are perfect. The extra storage is great for ear plugs and extra batteries. You should buy two!

The EMOD AR stock is the matching length for the VLTOR A5 receiver extension. The EMOD with an A5 extension is a great option to replace the full length fixed A1/A2 stock. Looks good on a 20" AR. The only (minor) complaint is that facial hair sometimes get caught in the seams.

A Great AR 15 stock from Vltor a usual, well made functions excellent and is very comfortable. There is a very small amount of wobble to it but no where near the wobble on the basic carbine stock. Works great on a Spikes Tactical six-position Buffer tube overall a improvement on the Magpul STR stock I was using before.

Bought to replace a Magpul ACS, I like the rolled toe, steel striker plate, like the locking tang release better, no chance to accidentally bump it. Like sling swivel attachment better, just basically like everything about it better than any other stock I have tried.
