Great service!

The Remington 870 side saddle picatinny rail was a good addition. Installation was straightforward, but a few extra parts needed to be clarified. It would be great to see it in a stainless steel or silver aluminum finish to match the police marine 870.

Very nice, The Remington 870 tactical side saddle is high quality. Installation is less than five minutes, and this thing is built like a brick. Shells fit snugly into the carrier. The only issue I had was that the factory forend was too long to cycle the action because the carrier gets in the way. So I picked up a Hogue forend for just over $20, and it is two inches shorter than the factory. Now it's good to go for the next step- scope and stock!

Quality is great. A Remington 870 side saddle & Picatinny rail with one mod? Awesome. Quality is excellent too. My only complaint is that the front of it extends past the front of the receiver by almost half an inch. It might not bug a lot of people, but it bugs me a lot. You can see an example of this in one of the customer uploaded pictures for this item. (saved me from needing to upload a pic) I got a leaper's red dot sight, and it mounted right up. On a side note... it would've been cheaper to get a Picatinny rail for the top, and a side-saddle. Oh well, you pay for convenience.

Solid Remington 1100 side saddle. Easy fit over the receiver. What I didn't know which came as a very pleasant surprise was how the saddle floats just over the sights on the top of the gun. I actually really like how it brackets my sight picture quite a lot. Also, an excellent buy considering how much the price is elsewhere.

Having a plastic shell carrier to compare this to, I was very pleased with the construction of the aluminum design. The installation is well thought out (the instructions could be better, but it's relatively straight forward), and it looks great on my 870. I would definitely recommend it!

With gun parts, you get what you pay for. I debated over some of these same items that were in the $15 to $50 range, but reviews said they were junk, but worked. If you paid $300-$400 for a shotgun, then throw on some cheap rail and sidesaddle, what's the point. This is milled perfect, literally floats on the receiver. The only problem I had was with the screws(forgot what they are called) to secure it where the pins use to be. They were too long. A common problem, so just stopped by the hardware store, got a flat-file and followed the instructions. Happy with the purchase... one last thing weight. This is about the lightest rail, sidesaddle I could find. Shotguns are heavy already, add the rounds in the sidesaddle and whatever other gadgets you add, and every ounce counts.

I bought this for my Remington 870 and love the way it looks. You do have to be careful not to scratch up the finish on your shotgun, but with care, this will be no problem. I think that six shells on the side make it perfect, just enough. I have mounted a Bushnell TRS 25 and works great. It was effortless to install and comes with instructions. A great option if you want a rail for mounting an optic but don't want the extra weight of a full rail system. You can't go wrong with this product.

I bought this for my Remington 870, I have a Magpul forend on it, and it doesn't interfere with the rail being on there at all, it was really easy to install and an excellent snug fit

This Remington 870 side saddle is built to last, yet lightweight. The only complaint I have is that it should have come with 'gaskets' to prevent metal-to-metal contact with the receiver. Mine got scratched up a bit, and then I made some gaskets. Also, be warned that the shells are retained by friction from a length of surgical-type tubing that runs the length of the shell receptacles. They provide an extra length of tubing that's stiffer if you want a tighter fit. The installation instructions warn against leaving the shells in place for long periods because the tubing will become depressed over time, and the shells would not be held in place as firmly. This could be a problem if you keep your weapon ready for home defense at all times.

Item was better than expected. Fit perfect and solid construction.
