Typical excellent Magpul grip looks sweet with matching Magpul MOE+ pistol grip. I wished it came with a rubber end cap so that the hollow interior could be used as storage. I discovered that the rubber end cap from the MFT React short vertical grip also fits the Magpul RVG quite well. So if you are willing to splurge, you can buy an MFT just for the end cap. Or you could use the MFT grip; its only drawback is that it has only one screw for mounting where the Magpul RVG has two.

This makes me proud! Everyone should have 5 of them. I went out the other day & seen a stick. The clouds were iridescent & melancholy. Smelled like death tasted like coffee!

I have many MOE RVG and MVG vertical forend grips and have never had any issues whatsoever with stripped screws or lousy fit, (suspect the bad reviews here are a result of a loose nut between the seat and the steering wheel). I have replaced all of my older VFGs with the Magpul versions and recommend these products highly. I also love the fact that it comes in colors. I wish there were something negative I could say here, but given their compactness and lightweight along with the ease of installation, there isn't. I would and have bought this product again and again.

A writer rated this product as bad because his screws stripped a nut without proper fitment. First off, he is trying to mount a quality accessory from Magpul onto a cheap UTG rail. This's the problem! You can't mix quality with the cheap stuff. Magpul makes its products to mil-spec standards. You don't see the Military running around with UTG gear.

The Magpul RVG vertical forend grip was installed on a 16" Radical Arms' upper AR assembly and one of my favorite new AR accessories. I was very satisfied with the added stability yielded with sight acquiring and retention in use. The vertical grip also looks to be shorter than some other choices available & worked well with the 16" barrel/rail group.

Stable, durable part - as all MOE products are in my experience. I like the short, stubby size of it because I don't use the vert grip as an actual gripping point. I use the Magpul RVG as a point of reference and brace for my hand while gripping the fore-end. It is ideal for this role, and the shorter size guarantees that it doesn't get it the way when you need to promptly get rid of the rifle in the dump barrel during three-gun matches.
