This little QD rail mount is such a simple yet valuable piece of hardware. For anyone appreciating a true tactical/practical option for making your weapon more modular regarding sling options, this is the item to get. It's low profile and slick design, along with the quality Magpul consistently offers makes this an essential buy. The ONLY issue is that when the sling attachment point is inserted into the hole, 360-degree rotation is not possible due to the grooves. However, there is plenty of movement still. In regards to QD attachments in general (not with this product particularly), one other small issue is that one must ensure the sling securely locks into place. However, all it takes is for a little, quick push-tug action. I have three of these RSAs on two different weapon platforms, and they offer many placement options. Overall, these little guys are worth the money. I recommend.

Magpul can do no wrong! Fantastic sling mount, small and angled perfectly! Attached this to the front rail of a heavy long-range precision AR. I will definitely buy more products like this.

This Magpul RSA qd is small, so it doesn't take up much rail space and allows for a huge amount of flexibility in terms where and how it is mounted. The angled QD hole is a plus.. Another great product from Magpul.

The Magpul rail sling attachment is good quality, well-built mount. It holds tight. I don't have extra rails, so this works perfectly for me to mount my tactical sling. The mount does not allow for 360° swivel once mounted. It only allows for limited movement of the sling swivel once installed, which prevents getting your sling twisted. You can adjust the swivel position to reach all 360°, though. I wasn't sure if I liked the limitation at first, but after my other rifle sling getting twisted, I do like it.

I first purchased the Magpul RSA QD after I accidentally bought a Magpul MS4 sling (instead of MS3) for one of my hunting MSRs and have now converted all forward attachment sling mounts to this QD adapter (rear mount is the Noveske QD endplate on all my rifles). I like that it does not fully rotate; for me, that helps in keeping the sling itself from twisting up. And very easy to switch from a single point to a two-point sling system or vice versa. It only takes up about 1/4 (1 slot), leaving plenty of rail space and not needing much rail if you prefer a streamlined plain of handguard. I've replaced two more standard Magpul RSAs to this QD RSA since my first. Thanks Magpul !!!

Easily mounts to the Picatinny rail. No issues attaching a sling too and sling' metal end clears well and does not rub against the rail. It does not wobble or come off with use. Robust and dependable, does not rust. Worth the money.

I use this mount on an SW AR 15-22. It performs like all the other Magpul products; it works like it is supposed to.

The threads could have easily been 1/16" or 3/32" longer — still an excellent low-profile connection point with a nice angle. The limited rotation isn't mentioned in the description. This QD socket has four stops at 90 degrees to each other, with about 45 degrees of rotation at each stop.
