The Magpul MBUS Pro® Offset Front Sight is a purpose-built backup sighting solution designed to complement magnified optics or LPVO setups on AR-15 and AR-10 platforms. I love these offset ar sights. I prefer using a scope but don't like having to mount it high to see iron sights underneath. They are perfect for close combat situations as you can easily access them by tilting the gun. They work best when mounted on the left side of the gun for right-handed shooters. However, I mounted mine on the ejection side and they still work fine, just with the adjustment knob turning in the opposite direction. The hash marks for sighting make them easy to use, and once they're zeroed, you won't need to make any further adjustments, just use Kentucky windage if necessary.

The magpul 45 degree iron sights are essential for shooters with scoped rifles who want iron sights as a backup option. Though it takes some practice to transition quickly, once mastered, it's easy. The steel sights provide confidence in continued target engagement if the scope becomes damaged. Adjusting the sights may be difficult, but it's easier with gloves. The front sight has two width options for precision or quick acquisition, but a riser may be needed if the gas block isn't the same height as the upper receiver rail. The rear sight has two peepholes for precision or quick acquisition. The only improvements suggested are a spring-loaded deployment and a full-circle front sight post guard to prevent confusion and reduce snagging.

Love the sites. Unobtrusive yet convenient Excellent quality. Easy to adjust and easy to acquire the site picture. Works great in tandem with scope for longer ranges, and the iron sites for closer ranges. Just rolling the rifle 45° brings you an entirely new site picture.

I bought the pair of the MBUS offset sights and installed them on an Adams Arms 16" piston upper. Using Federal 55gr 223 ammo, it needed a single click down to zero at 50 yards. It took less than 10 minutes to unbox, install, and sight-in the set.

How you use the product: I have them mounted on a 16" 300 blackout build using Aero Precision upper and Quantum M-Lok handguard. Things that are great about it: these sights are easy to install, they lay down very discreetly, but look and feel solid as a rock. The rollover from scope to iron is relatively smoothly, given that the iron sights are lower than the scope. I don't feel like I have to move or adjust my head from the stock in order to make front sight adjustments. I will be doing a full sight on Monday. The directions for the rear sight say to use no more than 23 in-lb of torque to tighten to Allen screw. The front directions don't mention a maximum inch-pound limit. Things that aren't so great about it: I wish they were cheaper and came as a set in a single box, but that's a minor complaint.

Magpul MBUS Pro Offset Front Sights is Fine craftsmanship including the finish. Very low profile when folded, quickly acquired when deployed. Adjustments are a little stiff but can be performed with fingers only. These AR Sights are tough enough that no amount of abuse will knock them off zero.

This Magpul MBUS Pro Offset Sight offers the lowest profile of any BUIS I've seen when in the down position. Solid build. No additional metal or plastic-like most others. Very efficient and effective. I wish the finish were matte, but that's a minor issue. I like that it takes up very little rail space.
