Great sling for long guns

This Magpul sling is comfortable for carrying rifles and shotguns across your back or at sling arms. The padding is wide and comfortable where it contacts your body. I have one on my Benelli SBE II and one on my Garand M1, and it makes the carry much more comfortable than the 1 inch slings. The sling is well made, but then it is a MagPul.

I really like the padding and extra width of the magpul ms1 padded sling for heavier rifles/shotguns. It distributes weight very well, is comfortable and easy to adjust. I have all of my rifles set up with a qd socket in the rear and a paraclip up front so I can quickly swap the sling to whatever long gun I am using.

I purchased this Magpul MS1 padded sling for use on my Remington 870 Marine shotgun. I have replaced the factory stock and forearm with the Magpul SGA stock. The 870 marine came with a factory sling that served its purpose, but it wasn't quite what I was looking for quality and carry options. This MS1 is the usual high quality materials and design that comes from all Magpul products. Sling works great with plenty of carrying options for my application.

I currently run the Magpul MS1 Padded Sling on four rifles, AK and AR, and it's wonderful! Feels very comfortable on the shoulder and across the chest. Just add a pair of Magpul QD Sling Swivel, and you're ready to go!

Vast improvement over the MS3

The padded section is 2" wide, and there are no seams in the strap (other than the rectangles stitched in to keep padding in place), and the total length of the strap is 72". This strap is like to the MS1 strap except for the padding. Unless you need the padding (for whatever reason) save the 15-20 dollars and get the MS1. I bought this to put on my M1 Garand because I had shoulder surgery and the standard USGI 1" strap hurt. This 1 1/4" strap fits just fine in the 75-year-old swivels. I additionally have three each MS3 Gen1 single point slings in my ARs and tactical shotgun that I loved until I got hung up on the loop once. I've since removed all the Paraclips from the MS3 Gen1s and installed them on MS1 slings to make them MS1 Gen2 slings. Much happier without the loops to get hung up on and the adjustable slider works great.
