It's widely acknowledged that the standard AK pistol grip is inadequate, unless you have small hands or are a die-hard AK enthusiast. For the rest of us, an upgrade is necessary, and the MOE-K2 AK Grip from Magpul offers just that. For a modest investment of 20 dollars, you can greatly improve the handling of your AK. This grip is designed for the average-sized American male hand, providing a comfortable grip and superior control of your weapon. Whether you're at the shooting range or navigating a tactical course, the MOE-K2 AK Grip delivers outstanding performance.

The MOE-K2 AK Grip is a standard, basic Magpul accessory in the AK pistol grip style. It serves its purpose and feels like a typical Magpul product. While there may be better options available, Magpul is a well-established and trustworthy company. My only complaint with this grip is the length of the flat top part that sits above the hand when holding the weapon. I used it with an M14/M1A Archangel CQB stock, and the top part extended beyond the stock, making it appear out of place. However, it still functioned properly. There was also an issue with the screw not fitting correctly, but this could have been a result of the stock or user error. If you want a simple, classic look for your AK-style firearm, this grip is a good choice.

The MOE-K2 AK Grip is exceptional. The grip texture provides a firm grip without being too harsh, making it easy to handle. The angle and shape of the grip aligns perfectly with the way I hold my AKM and use it for shooting off-hand and crouching. The installation process was straightforward and the grip fits snugly with the receiver and trigger guard.

I bought this to mount on to a Kalashnikov USA Kali-9 (an AK-9/Saiga-9 pattern rifle). The Kali-9 can take regular AK grips, but this Magpul grip had an interior structure that prevented it from mounting to the rifle's grip plate out of the box. I had to go in with a Dremel and grind away some of this hard plastic interior structure before I could get it mounted. Pleased with it now that it is mounted, but it took some doing. I'm pleased enough with the final solution that I would do it all over again, even knowing what I do now.

Great design, more upright and vertical than the original MOE Grip. I can quickly sweep the safety lever with my index finger—good aggressive texture and storage compartment for a spare set of ear plugs.

I thought the standard MOE was great, but this makes it even better. Slightly strange feeling when you first put it on, however, you get used to it quickly, and the angle helps sight acquisition.

This made a significant improvement in how I wielded my Ak 47. I have large hands, and the original grip was small. With this grip, the weapon feels like an extension of myself.

It looks and fits good, matches my Zukhov folding perfectly. As with any AK, some variants can be a pain in installation. With my AK, the grip attachment is screwed in with one screw to attach the replacement. The screw receptacle is a machined block that floats loose and can change positions on you as you install the new grip. This is a minor pain but can be done with a little care. That said it looks and feels great.

Great grip! Ergonomically comfortable with the more angled down handle. I had to put a nut due to the screw being a bit too long for my Arsenal Sam7. But other that fit was perfect and sits nice and flush with no wiggle at all. It made my rifle look and feel more tactical lol!

Magpul made a great grip here, but they did their customers a terrible disservice by not using some sort of allen or torx screw to install it versus a flat head screw. It made getting the first threads into the "nut" an ordeal that just wasn't necessary. Include a big torx screw and supply the tool and I would give this grip 5 stars even if it cost a couple of bucks more. As shipped it gets three stars.

The Magpul MOE-K2 AK GRIP is a huge upgrade from the grip that came with my ak it's entirely Magpul now fits my hand well, I have big hand my pinky has somewhere to rest now.

This made a meaningful, real improvement on how I used my Ak. I have large hands, and the original AK grip was small. With this Magpul MOE-K2 AK grip, the rifle feels like an extension of arm.
