The Magpul MLOK Covers are easy to attach to standard M-LOK slots and do not require any tools. Push the rubber plugs down into the holes and they will remain securely in place. The covers have a flexibility of 180 degrees without breaking, cracking or discoloring. The rubberized material provides a comfortable and low-profile design that offers a lot of grips, so your fingers won't slip around. I appreciate the ability to cut these covers down to any size with just a pair of scissors. This is an excellent feature because other covers I have used require sanding and filing to work with my BCM VFG, but all you need is a quick trim. They look particularly significant on AR pistols or rounded handguards.

I am glad I decided to try the Magpul M LOK Rail Covers before investing in something more expensive like rail scales. One of the best features of these covers is the ability to cut them to the desired length. I was still determining whether or not I wanted or needed rail covers, but I am glad I got these to try out. I appreciate the grippy rubber feel they provide, but I found them to make my rifle feel wider in my hand, which was not to my liking. After some time, I removed all but a tiny strip on the bottom. I am planning to try Guntec Rubber Slot Covers for a slimmer feel.

I have mixed feelings about the Magpul MLOK Rail Covers. On the one hand, the added grip is a definite plus. The soft, rubbery material provides a positive hold on your rifle. They are also easy to trim to your desired length. On the other hand, I found them difficult to install. Unlike most MLOK covers that can be easily inserted, these covers require more effort in terms of massaging, poking, and prodding to get them in place.

I found the Magpul M-LOK Type 1 Rail Covers to be an excellent addition to my setup. They provided the extra grip I was looking for and helped dissipate heat. While the heat dissipation could have been better, overall, I was very pleased with their performance. I also appreciated the low-profile design and the grippyness of the covers that helped me with control of my firearm.

The Magpul M-LOK Type 1 Rail Covers are high-quality gear that looks great and feels great to the touch. They are very easy to install and remove, and are made from a soft and pliable material. They can help insulate your hand from heat when installed on the handguard. These covers will slightly increase the width of your handguard and come in a package of two strips.

The fit is perfect and tight. You need a narrow, blunt tool, like a butter knife, to assist with the installation. It's easy to trim if you need it.

The semi-soft texture of these rail covers makes for a very good grip surface, wet or dry. You can also cut to whatever length you want.

I originally just bought these because I'm huge on the FDE/black color scheme, and these look awesome in place of the unused accessory areas I don't have plans for. While they don't DO anything for the rifle, they add a slight bit of meat to grab on to, and they're oddly kind of soft and squishy, so they're quite comfortable. Not slippery and don't get all slimy like some rubbery grip materials when they're baking in the heat. A subtle change that makes use of all those holes you don't have occupied by accessories. Pretty pricey, but I'd buy them again.

It keeps the barrel heat off of your hand, also keeps the hand from slipping. Does what it is supposed to.

The fit was great easy to install. The package contains two rail covers. The description didn't really specify how many were in the box.

These rails went on without too much trouble, and if that's true when I'm doing it, it will be the easiest thing in the world for everyone else. They look OK. They feel OK. The color is OK. They help somewhat when holding the barrel. In short, this is a solid product; it works, it pretty much does what it is supposed to, but it isn't going to be the miraculous transformation of the rifle—good, solid, not terribly exciting, a product that works. Frankly, I could probably use more of that in my life.
